Anyone able to tell me what sex they think this baby is

A girl? I've had a lot of scans with some looking more like a baby then others and I honestly have to agree with Dave...it looks like an eel.

@LeighaJ all this is imaging s the legs not the whole baby which explains why it doesn't look like a whole baby...

Wow I'm shocked how certain some are, makes me feel like I need to brush up on my sonographer skills (or lack thereof). 😁

Sil was told at numerous scans she was having a girl and had a boy so don't rush out and buy pink just yet

No privacy anywhere these days, even for an unborn baby. Close up shot of genitalia on the internet before they take their first breath.

It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable, tbh.

Ah okay. I've never received any scan pics like that.

Usually have only received 1 pic per scan of overall body and none from 32 week scan due to her position.

We had a 4d babybond scan at 30 weeks but was mostly focused on her face and body overall since her measurements had already just been fully documented at 28 weeks and we've known gender since week 14.

@LeighaJ I've never received a scan pic like this either which is why I'm asking if it's a below leg shot because I can't figure out what else it could be! Wonder if there are any sonographers

You didn’t ask the sonographer because you didn’t want to find out but you’re asking people what they think the sex is...? You are aware there will be sonographers and very experienced sex spotters on MN aren’t you?

@PinkyBlunder we didn't intend to find out at all. It was only after going through my notes I spotted this photo and wondered if anyone who had had a similar scan would know which is was.

As this is in Aibu yes I think you are being unreasonable for asking when you didn't want to find out!

That's almost definitely a girl, 3 lines clear as day. If your baby has male genitals they would be pulling a Houdini to hide them from this angle at that gestation.

I've got a shot like this for both my DC (one boy and one girl) and it's really obvious which is which.

Yeah, when my son was scanned at 20 weeks from underneath, the sonographer asked awkwardly, "Er, did you want to know the gender?"

There wasn't any hiding it, his tackle was clear as day! :D

This can’t be in the uk. No sonogapher I know would take a picture of this shot and then allow the patient to see it especially if they said they didn’t want to know the sex!!

Girl. My DS had a VERY pronounced penis on the scan, it was hard to miss .

My sons was really pronounced on his scan too we saw it straight away! Would be delighted to have one of each but the only thing that matters is that baby is happy and healthy!!

It looks exactly like dd's picture.

With ds and now ds2 (21 weeks pregnant with him) they were very very clear to see their parts.

10 weeks left how exciting.
