Mainly had sleepsuits from Tesco/Sainsbury's and they're okay but don't think they washed brilliantly.

Where have your best ones been from that have washed well and lasted?

*fold!

I second Boots, M&S & Next.

There is also a brand called Carter's which is lovely and has great designs, but is pretty pricey. Available from Zalando.

I live in Switzerland and here we still have C&A. Their kids range is great and I really like their babygrows.

Definately bond's wondersuits

ambereeree · 06/03/2018 06:22

What temperature do you all use to wash baby clothes to see shrinkage?

beargrass · 06/03/2018 07:06

Forgot Ocado. Handy if you don't need a massive shop but need to make the money up to get the delivery. And those ones washed really well, too.

Also yes to H&M for vests. They do the ones that don't go over the head which are great for tiny babies.

I wash at 30, and use napisan if there have been leaks. For really bad leaks, you've gotta get the clothes in with napisan to soak for a while ASAP. Doesn't matter where the clothes are from IME!

DUNS, Napertutto, Smafolk are the best. Lovely thick soft organic cotton. Cute designs that hide stains.

Amanduh · 06/03/2018 07:24

Jojo maman without a doubt, they’re expensive though but last forever. Next and Boots are good on the kind of next price down point, and for the cheapest Asda have always been great and long lasting

AHedgehogCanNeverBeBuggered · 06/03/2018 07:39

John Lewis and JoJo

ambereeree · 06/03/2018 09:08

Thanks Beargrass I've been washing all my toddlers and baby clothes at 60 and they were getting a bit faded. I'll try napisan.

Giraffe888 · 06/03/2018 18:06

I agree that JoJo Maman Bebe are the best for quality, design and washing

roseannaleeXo · 06/03/2018 18:32

I was waiting for someone to say frugi Hmm Erghhh. defo next so soft!
Supermarkets also had some decent ones.

windchimesabotage · 06/03/2018 18:34

maybe im just having really bad luck with babygrows lol but I bought one from Jo Jo Maman and it washed terribly. I thought it was an absolute rip off, I would have expected much better for the price. It only looked nice for the first wear.

RingFence · 06/03/2018 18:40

I had a few JoJo ones but found them poor quality, after a few washes they lost their softness. And I hate all the 'girly' details like twee bows, polka dots and frills. They look dated and fussy.
I love cotton-velour babygrows in bright colours for winter, Maxomorra has nice ones. Very snuggly.
