To exile DH for bringing back margarine instead of butter?

Sent DH to do the shopping (I know, I know) as I was bogged down with something. To be fair to him, he managed to do pretty well. Except he's brought back Margarine instead of the Butter I asked for. He thought he was doing a good thing because it was "cheaper".

AIBU to exile him and give him the cold shoulder for the foreseeable future? Margarine just isn't as good, is it? What am I supposed to have on Crumpets?!

We have margerine for things like pastry and cooking and butter for things like toast. They cohabit quite peacefully in our fridge

Does anyone remember Gold margarine? I'm retching at the memory of the taste.

My mum always bought value 'spread' and elmlea.
I have since introduced myself to real butter and real cream. If I'm going to be eating fat, it might as well be nice fat!

What I hate is people asking you if you want butter and then using margarine. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING!!!!
