You're probably all already eating /drinking this/these but I was shocked, appalled and horrified. I need to work on my sad face.

Crisps?! Gyah. Just... no.

HuskyMcClusky · 28/02/2018 12:49

I love SC but on crisps it can get to fuck.

itsonlysubterfuge · 28/02/2018 12:58

We tried the crisps. They were disgusting. HTH Grin

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 28/02/2018 13:08

But...why did you try them, Subterfuge??

Did someone dare you?

Phosphorus · 28/02/2018 13:11

There was a salted caramel ham in Aldi at Christmas.

MatildaTheCat · 28/02/2018 13:16

Toothpaste? Sorry, HRTFT so it’s probably already been revealed. Blush

YearOfYouRemember · 28/02/2018 13:20

Last night I opened the Christmas sated caramel pretzels I'd bought. They were such a disappointment.

MsWanaBanana · 28/02/2018 13:20

I never met a calorie that I didn't like

GloGirl · 28/02/2018 13:22

Salted caramel ham isn't so bad, it's essentially honey roast ham sort of

The crisps sound awful, I had the misfortune of having some sweet Aldi Christmas at a Christmas buffet, berry flavoured or something Envy

itsonlysubterfuge · 28/02/2018 13:22

tawdry we decided to be daring.

VaguelyAware · 28/02/2018 13:23

Urgh. I predict mince pie flavoured crisps next Christmas. I'd almost bet money on it. I deliberately avoided all the novelty festive food this year; it's all shite. Food scientists don't seem to have any taste buds these days.

UpstartCrow · 28/02/2018 13:28

Is it shampoo, because I don't want wasps in my hair again.

Xylo · 28/02/2018 13:29

Salted caramel grapes?

I know sainsburys do bubblegum flavour grapes.

AuntFidgetWonkhamStrongNajork · 28/02/2018 13:29

I had some Tesco Finest Brie and Cranberry at Christmas. Vile, ok on the cheesy front but it was more strawberry than cranberry and who the fuck wants strawberry crisps?

Twocatsonebaby · 28/02/2018 13:30

Doughnut

GabsAlot · 28/02/2018 13:35

I foolishly bought the salted caramel tea Blush smells amazing......tastes like shite

Elendon · 28/02/2018 13:39

Sprouts? I don't even eat sprouts at Christmas.

onalongsabbatical · 28/02/2018 13:46

Sorry, I know I'm mocking someone's opinion, but I was moved, yes, moved to go and look at reviews for the salted caramel green tea, as it looked as if real people somewhere liked it. I give you this...
Well balanced caramel cuppa. I've been really impressed with the Twinings dessert style green tea collection, having stumbled on them whilst looking for a replacement to my current limited edition version. If you're looking for a genuine caramel flavour this is definitely it, I found it far more palatable than Caramelised Apple, which still tasted very strongly of green tea. This is a much more well rounded, authentic flavour and one I'm happy to add to my shelf.

So much wrong. But especially this - apparently this GREEN TEA has a more authentic flavour because it tastes not so much of GREEN TEA. I'm baffled, baffled, I say!

Jux · 28/02/2018 13:54

So many things which aremeant to be salted caramel are just sweet, not salty and not caramelly. SC chocolate does at least taste of chocolate.

DH bought a SC spread. In order for it to taste of anything other than non-specific sweet, I have actually grated a little salt on it. Needless to say, the jar has been sitting about for months with only a mm or so gone.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 28/02/2018 13:56

I don't mind the tea actually. It's alright. Had worse.

MarthaArthur · 28/02/2018 14:01

onalong 😂😂😂 tbh I tried lemon drizzle cake tea and vommited.

SharonBottsPoundOfGrapes · 28/02/2018 14:05

I got a salted caramel candle a few years ago for christmas. I never lit it as it smelled proper stale. So stuck it in a cupboard. Randomly people would comment and.ask if we had spilt milk on the carpet or some other food accident. We were perplexed and.could never smell what they did. We went away for a few days and when we came back the stink was obvious. We couldn't place what it was immediately. Then dh opened the cupboard and it was worse. He looked for hidden food first but then realised it was the candle. I think it had somehow gone rancid.
