I mean, the sight of Jamie Fraiser in his kilt. Good Lord how did I let this show pass me by!
I watched the Wedding episode the other night (I'm only on episode 8), never known DH so quiet Grin

Its started well but she seems to get her baps out at the drop of a hat now.

I like tits & bums as much as the next person, but a decent storyline doesn't hurt either & that seemed to die.

I've yet to make the attempt with season 2....

The costumes are utterly glorious - especially in Series 2 when they're in France. Pure escapist nonsense. Love it.

Flipping marvellous. Jamie is so gorgeous and the chemistry between the two of them is incredible. When i watched the reunion scene i got so hot and bothered my dh thought it was christmas ! Just come back from a holiday in Scotland where we visited a lot of the Outlander sites-it really helped to bring the series alive. If you visit Doune Castle(Castle Leoch) they have a fantastic audio tour where the actor who plays jamie does some of the narration. Standing in the location with his voice in your ears(and speaking Gaelic) is utterly surreal !!

I tried to watch it. Got two episodes in and gave up. It's awful! The time travel woman gets on my tits too.

They are filming near me next week 😱 excited much!! I went along at the weekend and they have some of the set up already. I'm going along on the day of filming and hanging around like a groupie to see if I can catch a glimpse of that hunk of love 😍

Pfftkids. I drove past the film set on Friday night. A great bloody massive bright light in the woods just outside Airdrie, nearly blinded me. But if course crawled past in the vain hope of a glimpse of the cast.

OMG Graham McTavish could GRIND MY CORN any day! He is delicious. And I have a terrible weakness for Murtagh too...

I covet Claire's Cowl. I have been watching one on Etsy, it's beautiful.

I became obsessed with Claire's knitwear in the first season. Finally bought a cowl, which was very silly and self-indulgent, considering that I live in Florida.

Claire's clothes are beautiful and Jamie is easy on the eye. DH and I agree that Claire herself is so unpleasant we struggle to see how one bloke could put up with her let alone a few of them, we have only seen the tv version, maybe she is a bit nicer in the books.

deadringer I will remove all pictures of the kids on my phone so I have plenty of space to take lots on the day Grin this is what's there so far. They have clad the buildings in wood, have lots of barrels and torches sitting. Never thought I would be so excited to see barrels Confused😂

giggly Grin I would have went for a woodland walk that night. It's not that one though. They aren't filming down here until next week

Bugger pressed send because a sodding advert is covering the button!

In other news, my knitted Cape arrived this morning and it is amazing. A lovely moss green worth beautiful metal thistle buttons. It's very subtle and not at all obviously fan merch. If it wasn't so bloody cold I'd go out to show it off 😂

Goodness I actually live 5 minutes from Culloden battlefie, should I be watching this? It has completely passed me by.*

It is filmed in Cumbernauld not even joking 😀

SenecaFalls · 26/02/2018 13:10

The studio is in Cumbernauld but they have been filming in locations all over Scotland. Interesting about the wooden clad buildings. So that's how they're making that part of Scotland look like North Carolina in the 18th century. Smile

couchparsnip you make 'having to film in Scotland' sound like a punishment Shock

My ds who is studying Scottish History at Uni says it is historically incorrect but I don't care, i love it Blush

Report
Hueandcry · 26/02/2018 14:36

Oh and some of it is filmed in Fife too...
