DP noticed our new washing up bowl can hang above the sink space if you balance it with its handles - see third pic with an egg cup underneath.
He truly thinks this is a sensible way to store it, and so after washing up etc he always replaces it like this. Then puts things in the levitating washing up bowl to soak etc.
It drives me mad. It is clearly grotesque. His argument is that it means its not sitting in the sink possibly collecting scum from when we tip stuff down the side of the bowl down the sink. I can see his point but a) this rarely happens and b) I'd rather a bit of scum on the bottom of the bowl than a washing up bowl which looks like it's met a very unusual snake charmer.
