So... the ranty, sweary, poorly spelled note writing person who abused ambulance drivers got taken to court and got fined.

I also read the Sun's take on it, which made me smile even more

June I am surprised you haven't been told that in great detail.

But I did sign off MN for about a year, maybe there was an amnesty on it!

Oh God June, don't ask... they'll hear you! Righteous anger will descend and the thread will go zap!

CuriousaboutSamphire · 20/02/2018 20:01

If I were talking civilly to StonerSIL I would. Actually, that could be an ice breaker, couldn't it? Grin

Ah, so I was right to get the tin hat ready!!

The condemnation of people's reading matter/links in posts on MN is utterly tedious - to those who do it get off your high horses, it makes you look the opposite of clever and erudite.

RedDogsBeg · 20/02/2018 20:04

That would be an MN Lynch Mob, BossWink

BossWitch · 20/02/2018 20:05

Eh?

Cynara · 20/02/2018 20:06

I know this seems like a trivial point, but please don't call us ambulance drivers. We do drive ambulances, but that's a small part of our role and we do an awful lot more than that.

JuneBuggy · 20/02/2018 20:06

Yikes! Me? No, didn’t say a word Halo

RedDogsBeg · 20/02/2018 20:08

Those who will descend in answer to June's question Boss.

BossWitch · 20/02/2018 20:09

Ah. Understood!

CuriousaboutSamphire · 20/02/2018 20:13

I know this seems like a trivial point, but please don't call us ambulance drivers. I once got asked why I say 'emergency service personnel'. I explained the multi tasking nature of the job and got 'Yeah, but that one's driving the ambulance, innit' as a response. I sighed and walked away.

And no there shouldn't be a question mark at the end of that. It was said in broad Glaws, 'innit' simply signifies the end of a thought Smile

There is a poor girl with the same name and blond hair on Facebook getting absive threatening messages off the Lynch mob. She does not even look like the person who actually did it apart from the blond hair

RoseWhiteTips · 20/02/2018 20:29

Good. Glad the whole country and its dog are laughing at the way things have turned out. What a loser.

RoseWhiteTips · 20/02/2018 20:33

She’s a twonker. For sure.

TathitiPete · 20/02/2018 20:47

She's a flibberyjibbet.

SteamyBeignets · 20/02/2018 22:44

Steamy methinks you are a Twitter sock...

Have no clue what you're on about, and I don't use Twitter!

Thehop · 20/02/2018 22:50

She’s on income support according to the article. If it’s teue, she’ll
Likely pay about 50p a week.

Itmakesthereaderreadon · 20/02/2018 22:59

Call her a 'melt'. It's my current favourite insult, thanks to the kids in.school. It sounds so innocuous, but say it with feeling:"you melt."

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 20/02/2018 23:01

She should be facing a stint in jail and being made a proper example of to anyone else who thinks of being abusive to our dedicated NHS staff.
God knows what her neighbours must think of her. I know what I'd think of mine if they were kicking off about an ambulance being parked outside their door.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 20/02/2018 23:07

This woman did a thoroughly stupid and ill-considered thing; I think she must have been in a bit of a temper about it. I think the Fine was risible and community service would be very appropriate.

That said, I really don't like this Meeja penchant for posting photos and opinions of others in 'news' articles. I deplore it actually. I remember when news articles were just the facts... I miss that.

kungpopanda · 20/02/2018 23:17

How about 'twunt'?
