Someoneasdumbasthis · 13/02/2018 16:45

I was going to do ham and cheese crepes for the kids followed by a lemon and sugar for pudding but fear coming down with big so am holed up on safe watching a movie desperate for DH to get back from work. Boooooo. I love pancakes.

meredintofpandiculation · 13/02/2018 16:46

Lemon and sugar.
And that's instead of tea, not as pudding. We're not having a first course, so I don't have to think about what to cook. A day off!

Silverstar2 · 13/02/2018 16:52

We had ours at lunch time, kids (teenagers) had Nutella, and sugar and lemon, I just had lemon juice, no sugar (yuk too sweet).

Hope everyone enjoys theirs, some great ideas!

brewsandbooks · 13/02/2018 16:55

Chocolate and strawberries 🍓

jay55 · 13/02/2018 17:01

Caramac buttons, sugar and lime, golden syrup, squirty cream.

Notso · 13/02/2018 17:04

OP there is nothing on your list I would want on a pancake. Lemon and sugar or butter and sugar are the only ones for me. I did used to like cheese when I was a child but now find it too sickly.
My children like chocolate spread or syrup and banana/strawberry/raspberry. DC4 likes lemon and honey.

MadRainbow · 13/02/2018 17:05

Bacon and maple syrup for tea and lemon and sugar for rafters. 2 types of pancakes though

AHedgehogCanNeverBeBuggered · 13/02/2018 17:07

Exactly the same as MadRainbow except all the pancakes will be Hungarian palacsinta (like crêpes but thinner, made with half milk/half soda). Yum!

Wait4nothing · 13/02/2018 17:08

Dd has had marshmallow and chocolate spread
I’ve had the trial one with lemon and sugar

Me and dh are having them for tea (once dd is in bed) - I’ll have lots of different sweet varieties! He’s having baxon, mascarpone and maple syrup.

MrsFrTedCrilly · 13/02/2018 17:09

Had ours for breakfast
Lemon curd for me, kids had dark chocolate spread
Yum Grin

YessicaHaircut · 13/02/2018 17:10

We’re having a normal dinner of jacket potatoes followed by pancakes for pudding - can’t wait!
I’m going to have Nutella & banana, and then lemon & sugar on mine.

Natsku · 13/02/2018 17:11

Oh bugger, I forgot it's pancake day :(

Wellfuckmeinbothears · 13/02/2018 17:12

I cannot get past the courgette! I told dh and he is sat, open mouthed in a state of shock and horror!

We're having sugar, syrup and ice cream.

I suggested maybe we could try branching out to a cheese and ham one before we moved on to the sweet options. He did not agree.

RainbowGlitterFairy · 13/02/2018 17:13
