I have had it up to my back teeth, with that lanky streak of piss. We now have Andy's Safari adventures, sequel to Andy's dinosaur adventures, which is indistinguishable from Andy's prehistoric adventures, which follows Andy's baby animals.

All have exactly the same format even the same fecking theme tune. My DD will watch nothing else, and I now want to feed him to the woodchipper, like they did in Fargo. AIBU?

I am not familiar with Dr Ranj. I think I will keep it that way, and not liking the sound of show me either.

Andy is like an excitable puppy - he's fine but agree his theme 'songs' are shite and his shows are all the same.

Ben is my favourite - he's lovely, and Ryan seems like a nice guy.

bit off subject has anybody seen magic door, cats own cbeebies show? it is so bad! so low budget too, with the computer animated backgrounds and kids dressing up costumes from asda. obviously spent all the money on andy! it’s only saving grace is my DD has started to copy the dance moves and that’s cute!

Magic Door is remarkably old-fashioned, basic and odd; 'let's investigate something by dressing up and doing a little dance about it'. But, dd loves it, so it is doing something right. Maybe a bit of dressing up, smiling and dancing is all that's ever been needed for essential children's tv?

I love Andy. I like how he’s ever so tall and he’s always there with his great big smiley mouth. He’s definitely some dirt in whoever is in barge of CBeebies - he’s got about a hundred shows where he’s twatting about with animals or dinosaurs, Cat has got a 5 minute show once a week where she has to sing with a load of kids, Rebecca has only got 10 year old repeats of Let’s Play on and poor old Ben just lurks about really trying to look like he’s having fun but is actually dead inside.

I have a large age gap with my kids. Disappointed that Chris and puoy seem to have climbed down the ladder somehow in that time.

I couldn’t believe when I watched Dr Ranj for the first time that he was a real doctor and not an actor. My dad (in his 80s) was insistent he must be a real doctor “it would be wrong to claim to be a doctor on tv if you aren’t!” I countered this with “what about Holby City?” He huffed at me and said, “that’s fiction, this is a factual programme!” as Dr Ranj sang about measles or some such with a muppet.

Had to eat my words when I googled it.
