What do you think?

Who needs an excuse? Though I suppose an excuse is always handy...

Unrelated to HCB, but related to chocolate- the first time I saw the resealable chocolate packets WTF? Who needs to reseal chocolate? I have never ever repealed a chocolate bar.

Not very intriguing, sorry to disappoint!

TheSassyAssassin · 26/02/2018 20:21

Wwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaattt? Re-seal-a-ble? What is this 're-seal-a-ble' you are talking of? I do not understand? Chocolate and 're-seal-a-ble'? Mind blown......Confused

picklemepopcorn · 26/02/2018 20:41

Ridiculous, eh?

I've not made it to this age and 17 stone by resealing chocolate!

EinsteinsArousedSausagesHCB · 26/02/2018 21:01

I have re-sealed chocolate once or twice thousands of times. It comes in handy when the DC have caught me munching it and want it for themselves, I pretend I've scoffed the lot, or dropped it on the floor then re-seal it for later. Blush

TheSassyAssassin · 26/02/2018 21:03

Chocolate is inhaled round these parts....that way it's calorie free . A seal of any kind would be helpless against the inhaling onslaught! Grin

TheSassyAssassin · 26/02/2018 21:05

Seal being helpless against chocolate inhaling onslaught! Wink

Ooh, white chocolate... mmm. I'm not fussy.

I used to love plain, bourneville chocolate. After I had DS2 my taste completely changed and I started craving white and milk chocolate. Plain chocolate doesn't really do it for me anymore.

Frusso · 27/02/2018 01:18

Mmm bourneville. Although not the best. I like the 85% dark chocolate. It's an acquired taste, but on the plus side you eat less to get the same chocolate fix, therefore less calories. Win win

picklemepopcorn · 27/02/2018 06:33

I've tried, Frusso, but it doesn't hit the spot any more. I've regressed in my taste, I'm afraid.

Morning all!

TheSassyAssassin · 27/02/2018 07:06

Morning! Brew

picklemepopcorn · 27/02/2018 09:06

I'm home alone all day today, but I've kept the heating on anyway! Feeling indulgent. I've got croissant with bacon and Brie lined up for my lunch...

I will have to brave the cold outdoors at s9me point though, or I'll have a cross legged doggy. Makes a change from a hot cross bunny, I suppose.

TheSassyAssassin · 27/02/2018 09:16

Home this morn too and heating is very much staying on! Proper brass monkey weather 🙈🙉🙊

TheSassyAssassin · 27/02/2018 10:57

Oooh it's snowing! V pretty especially viewed indoors with the heating cranked up and a Brew! Just need a HCB to go with it and all would be perfect Grin

educatingarti · 27/02/2018 11:25

Morning all. Just on my second cup of coffee of the morning. Snow here this morning too although it is melting in the sunshine. I have to cross Manchester in the evening rush hour this evening to get to work. Not looking forward to it all re- freezing. Guess I'll have to allow some extra time!

TheSassyAssassin · 27/02/2018 11:28

Make sure you take a pack of emergency HCBs with you arti to cover all eventualities!

educatingarti · 27/02/2018 11:49

Good thinking Sassy.

picklemepopcorn · 28/02/2018 09:59

How was your commute, Arti? I'm trying to summon up the will to get out of bed and turn the heating on, before it gets too cold to contemplate. Wait- there is chocolate in the cupboard above the advance button. I think I can do it...

educatingarti · 28/02/2018 12:51

Haha Pickle! You can do it. Have a HCB to keep your strength up!
The commute wasn't too bad in the end. I allowed extra time and there was actually less traffic than usual so I arrived early. Side roads were a bit iffy on the return since it had snowed again but not much. The Manchester snow shield was still working even if it let a bit through!

picklemepopcorn · 28/02/2018 13:01

My meeting tonight is cancelled, so I may get away without driving 8n the snow at all! The dog even looks comfy on the bed, and not in any rush to go for a walk. I am living such a lazy life at the moment- I'm going to have to get back into harness at some point...

TheSassyAssassin · 28/02/2018 16:51

There'll be time for harnesses a plenty pickle, for now take your time. No snow here of any note though the forecast is currently looking like blizzards tomorrow.....oooooh wait....am by an M&S currently ....it'd be rude not to stock up on some HCB comfort just in case am snowed in tomorrow....wouldn't it?

picklemepopcorn · 28/02/2018 17:22

It's vital you take full advantage of that happy coincidence Sassy!

How's the back?

TheSassyAssassin · 28/02/2018 17:41

Oh I have. I now have the Kentish Apple and the Salted Caramel and Choc HCBs in my possession. Not tried either before. Yum! Back is much improved thank you and was in work today and apart from being a little achy, am pretty much back to normal. Yay! Smile

TheSassyAssassin · 01/03/2018 10:31

Well this is fun....coldest bloody day and no power....great! Not even a HCB will cheer me up...can't bloody toast it anyway! Grrrrrr Sad

Aridane · 01/03/2018 10:37

Hello, guys - just thought I would pop in and say hello.

--I have to confess that I haven't had any HCBs and don't really like them that much. That last time I had one was in hospital in 2011 when they were handing out buttered HCBs just before Easter. And a vicar coming round with palm leaves__
