If your on a diet, how are you coping with pancake day?

So I've lost abit of weight last year and still have some to go. I've dieted to the extreme before and generally have a really poor relationship with food. I'm aiming for healthy and happy. Expect weight loss to come slow and steady which it is. I normally eat really well during the week and let myself eat whatever I've been craving, but not an out and out binge to the point I hate myself. I've got family coming round on tues which I'm really looking forward to but it's going to mess up my routine. I'm scared that if I'm thinking this way I may be slipping back to old habits where I avoid social functions because it messes up my diet but at the same time I just want to enjoy the company of people and some food that isn't califlower rice so maybe I'm developing a normal relationship with food and it's not that big of a deal and the world isn't going to end
