AIBU to wonder whether you're team SJP or team Kim (lighthearted)?

So it's always been rumoured that SJP and Kim Cattrall weren't exactly best buds when working on SATC. Kim kind of confirmed it in her interview with Piers Morgan recently and SJP was very hurt by her comments (apparently).

So Kim's brother passed away and SJP sent her condolences on social media to which Kim replies: www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-43018307

I always thought Kim seemed very sweet and friendly in interviews so maybe SJP was a bit of a cow to her.

What's your take? (If you care at all that is!)

Kim.

SJP has never come across as a nice person. Seemed jealous and insecure, and there were stories about how she went to great lengths to exclude KC on and off set. KC was the more popular actress at the time SITC started, and I suspect that had a lot to do with her behaviour.

If SJP had been 'sincere', she would have privately messaged KC. She didn't. And I think KC has just had enough of her phoniness.

I saw a tweet reproduced somewhere from someone who’d been a runner on SATC. They said “Kim was the nice one”.

I never really got into Sex and the City but I massively preferred Samantha's character and KC's acting.

She's been very upfront about the fact that SJP was a cow to her, and as a consequence she ended up with quite shitty and unflattering age-related story-lines for the series and in the films.

SJP is very keen on maintaining a 'nice' persona. Given the very public animosity between them, if she genuinely wanted to send her best wishes then the most appropriate way to do so, would have been by private message. But that wouldn't hvae allowed her to make a public declaration of 'niceness'.

Team Kim all the way, even when I loved the show. I couldn't stand either SJP or Carrie. I saw KC in the UK version of Who Do You Think You Are where she seemed down to earth and likeable and SJP in the US version where she was very affected girly-girly.

Incidentally, have you seen how HUGE SJP's hands are?

100% team Kim. SJP is just trying to keep up her "sweetheart victim" role.

It made me thinks of an ex friend who turned out to be really cruel and manipulative. Not a nice person at all. If something tragic happened to me and she posted a status on Facebook for example offering her condolences I'd be livid. If Sarah really gave a toss she'd privately have contacted her. I think kim maybe could've handled it better be equally good on her for calling Sarah out on her bullshit.
