school toilet policy

This is making my DS (aged 7) v anxious so trying to get a read on whether it is genuinely an unreasonable policy or more just him.

In his class, they are only allowed to go to the toilet once per day in lesson time. If they go more than this, they miss 5 mins of break. This feels unfair to me, as they can't help how often they need to go/ they are still young and often can't hold it and it causes unnecessary anxiety for some kids/ it seems like a punishment for something they can't necessarily control. Not to mention the fact that some kids (like my DS but I'm sure many others too) really need htat running around time at break. I'm thinking of complaining to the school but before I do....

AIBU?

Evening folks. Just popping in to say that we really do think the OP is above board here. Obviously we can never vouch 100% for any one of you (you all could be hairy-handed truckers for all we know, though we do of course hope not).

But this OP really does look ok from this end. It looks to us as though she has unwittingly posted about a situation that is a favourite story of our occasionally-resident wee troll, which is rather unfortunate, though not a massive coincidence, since it's not a completely outlandish scenario.

Thanks for all the reports anyway - we do understand why folk are twitchy on this subject and we're always happy to get reports when people are concerned, but hope this puts everyone's minds at rest.
