"live forever" is the best song of the 90's; "mr bright side" is the best of the 00's and "get lucky" is the best of the 20-teens.

What have you got for second place?! Wink

Wham Rap. Grin I know all the words. Blush Actually I know all the words to Wham songs. I wanted to be Shirlie.

But how about GM and Aretha Franklin 'I Knew you were Waiting for Me', that's a tune!

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 06/02/2018 21:36

Nah, sorry, just making it 80’s (written 79 but released 80), it’s definitely
Love Will Tear Us Apart
Joy Division

leccybill · 06/02/2018 21:37

True Faith - New Order
This Corrosion - Sisters of Mercy

ShackUp · 06/02/2018 21:39

If we're talking George n Andrew, it has to be Young Guns. Or maybe Everything She Wants.

All of the Spice Girls' first album is stolen from the Wham back catalogue.

Sparklingbrook · 06/02/2018 21:40

Don't sully this thread with talk of the Spice Girls. Shudder.

Grin

Club Tropicana?

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 06/02/2018 21:41

Oooh Laiste I’m listening to This Corrosion now!
And a bit of The Cult (Ian Astbury....swoon)

AlbertHerbertHawkins · 06/02/2018 21:46

Karma Chameleon - obvs

Sparklingbrook · 06/02/2018 21:47

If it's Culture Club that would be 'Victims'.

ShackUp · 06/02/2018 21:48

Club Tropicana is one of the greatest songs ever written (I would never have admitted this in my indie kid phase 20 years ago).

I remember listening to The Holy Bible (Manic Street Preachers) in my room at uni and my friend rocking up with her Wham best-of. Needless to say we got pissed and danced to Wham instead.

woodhill · 06/02/2018 21:52

Feezles · 06/02/2018 22:43

SleightOfMind · 06/02/2018 22:43

Maybe Don’t You Forget About Me - Simple Minds

ShakeShakeTheMuffin · 06/02/2018 22:44

Yep agreed on Sisters of Mercy. Possibly 'Alice' over 'This Corrosion'.
Smalltown Boy
Enjoy the silence or blasphemous rumours by Depeche Mode.
True faith beats Blue Monday.
Torch by Soft Cell.
Close to Me.
Kings of the wild frontier.
Love Wham Rap too!
And loads more I've forgotten about but definitely NOT Toto.
