Hats off to bearded! That’s amazing, 14 stone off... you must be so so proud of yourself and rightly so. You must feel better in yourself, weight aside? Sometimes I think it can get so wrapped up in the weight loss the @hie you feel in your own skin” element can get overlooked. My mum for example, she struggles with weight but when I talk to her about how she feels being slimmer she looks blank, it’s all about the numbers on the scales. She would drink Diet Coke all day long to lose weight but never think about hydrating by drinking water or even squash for example.

*way!!

Fasting, started on 4:3 and then switched to 5:2, while also watching what I eat on the other days except for 1 where I go bonkers and eat everything in sight.

Since the 22nd October 2017 I have gone from 14 stone 4lbs to 12 stone 7 lbs.

It is a steady weight loss and it is difficult some weeks.

Check out Rebelfit.co.uk or their Facebook page. Some very interesting links regarding the diet industry.

I'm currently on my first mission and am definitely thinking differently about food.... with no guilt and no shame!

It is a fitness rather than slimming group though.

I do slimming World online as I didn’t have the confidence to go to a group. I’ve also bought a fit bit.
I’m 3 stone down and still motivated. This after a lifetime of being obese.

As someone said dieting is hard, being fat is hard. Choose your hard.

Ration book diet. It was brilliant. I lost 1 and a half stone over 2 months and dh did it too and he lost 2 stone.
Its easy to keep up all the time too but does take some getting used to not eating things like pasta I love pasta Blush

Whatever diet you try (and good luck with it), WALKING is the key IMO. I tried other forms of exercise, and many diets with no luck at all (gave up on exercise, diets alone didn't work) but a decent walk each evening combined with sensible diet and lost weight fairly easily.
Wishing you good luck with it all.
