That's it, really. Competent, physically appealing, entertaining and clearly very bright. And an excellent husband.

Come on. Who do you guys think is the perfect man?

Roomba · 03/02/2018 07:00

OP, I think your idea of 'bright' must be very, very different to mine. Also 'entertaining' and 'physically attractive'.

Anymajordude · 03/02/2018 07:01

Personally I prefer to watch the weather...if Tomasz Schafernaker is presenting it.

trojanpony · 03/02/2018 07:12

🤮 His eyebrows on take me out are a crime!!!!!!

Koala72 · 03/02/2018 07:13

YABVVVVU I've met him in real life, he's an absolute knob, awful.
ok, am cured. My initial thought came as was watching 'Take me out', thinking it was almost the lowest form of entertainment had ever seen, but also quite enjoying it (and questioning self as to why), and it seemed that Paddy was more attractive than all the prospective Romeos who wee coming down the chute legs-first and taking off their clothes and doing tricks. ... I suspect two glasses of wine may have had something to do with it, in my defence Grin

I did know that there would be a flurry of opinion among you lot, though. It has thrown up some classics, such as the lower class looking face. Grin Grin

I did then go and check Phoenix Nights and there he was, the brutal young bouncer, quite bad-tempered, a bit mean, showing his animal side one way or another quite a lot. A perfect vignette I thought.

I don't think he is stupid, He can't be. Doing either of those shows takes a kind of intelligence that is almost laughing back at itself, but it's there, nevertheless.

I don't like the being unkind to Thai pedicure guy, though. Perhaps he and his wife were lacking sleep due to the babies. None of it good, though.

Definitely safer and more mainstream to bleat happily in the flock adoring Tom Hardy. ...

Les Dawson vs Nigel Havers
Pat Butcher vs Patricia Hodge.

Ha this is a new thread, I think!

Victoria Beckham vs Keira Knightley.
Rodney vs Roger Moore.

I am a heterosexual man.

Regardless of your views on his appearance, I would suggest someone who hosts an outdated dating game show is not perfect.

JeremiahBackflip · 03/02/2018 10:18

I have a lower class face. I can always tell other people with lower class faces because like me, they have a groove in their foreheads from all the forelock tugging.

Trashboat · 03/02/2018 10:21

Yabu OP, he is a tosspot. And the programme he hosts - I don't even need to watch it. It makes me cringe.

ConciseandNice · 03/02/2018 10:24

A sterling reply as always JeremiahBackflip.

Paddy makes my innards churn. I go so far as to say he gives me the runs.

Having autistic twins does not make you a hero, it makes you a parent with twins who have autism. He's still a creepy knob.

ArsenalsPlayingAtHome · 06/02/2018 04:37

e1y1

As a fellow Northerner, in fact the next town to him and co, it very much pains me to say he is a prat. His well known Friend of “Comedy” is also one of the biggest arses walking the Earth

Oh really? That's a shame to read.

Who's the "friend of comedy"?

You can't be referring to Peter Kay, surely?

Cavender · 06/02/2018 05:12

“Brutal bouncer”

Erm, have you ever actually watched Phoenix Nights?

Paddy’s character isn’t “brutal”. He’s a sex obsessed idiot.

I haven’t seen it for years and don’t like it or the Max and Paddy spin off but I find it hard to believe that you’d be such a fan of the actor and a) not remember his big break and b) misread the character so badly.

On the other hand this entire thread shows that there is truly someone for everyone. Confused

Vitalogy · 06/02/2018 05:14

I've not seen this new show but liked Max and Paddy Road to Nowhere.

Shockers · 06/02/2018 05:18

The PP’s examples of lower class faces are just people with chin fat.

Stay off the pies if you want to look posh folks!

Lancashire has many variations of The accent. Bolton is very different to Lancaster, for example.

mamaryllis · 06/02/2018 05:58

Can we go back to Sean Bean now please? Please?...

StoatofDisarray · 06/02/2018 06:37

Paddy is pretty awesome BUT

Bertie Carvel.

DreamyMcDreamy · 06/02/2018 09:11

Phwoar, totally would. YADNBU Smile

jmh740 · 06/02/2018 21:49

E1y1 wondering where you live as I would also say I live in the town next to Bolton.
Read an article about paddys wife recently (think it could have been in the free asda mag) and think they also have a baby who they think could also be on the spectrum.

Wide0penSpace · 13/02/2018 13:12

Is this you Nicole?

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 13/02/2018 13:33

Ah - the OP is Nicole. All becomes clear.

RedAppleTree · 13/02/2018 13:58

He is sexy, I so would as well.

lovetheway · 13/02/2018 14:07

Well, this thread is unfortunate timing isn't it?! Grin

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 13/02/2018 14:09

He has dumped Nicole allegedly (or she dumped him)

midnightmisssuki · 13/02/2018 14:12

ahahahahahahaha. The timin gof this thread couldnt have come at a worse time... Nicole is that you? If it is - I loved All Saints!

AsMuchUseAsAMarzipanDildo · 13/02/2018 14:14

No he’s grim and by all accounts an arsehole in real life.

Khaleesi0 · 13/02/2018 14:17

I must admit I do like Paddy - but I do prefer Dave Grohl 😍

GrannyGrissle · 13/02/2018 14:36

Ugh he is foul and an utter cunt if he's been knobbing that Appleton thus cheating on his wife. I hope wife rinses him for all he's worth if the split up (and I don't usually think that at all).
