That's it, really. Competent, physically appealing, entertaining and clearly very bright. And an excellent husband.

Come on. Who do you guys think is the perfect man?

Tom Hardy is delicious, he cuddles puppies and reads lovely bedtime stories on cbeebies that I recorded even though DS is 12.

isthismummy · 02/02/2018 22:20

Sorry Koala but Tom does nowt for me. Then again I don't like manly men.

On the other hand I've been harbouring a Cillian Murphy obsession for the last fifteen years. Now there is a man of sheer, otherworldly beauty.

iklboo · 02/02/2018 22:24

I can't think about Cillian Murphy that way because he looks exactly like a woman I used to work with. She was perfectly nice but since I knew her I always think of her when I see him.

Yambabe · 02/02/2018 22:27

Good god woman YABTU! Like, totally.

He is an irritating twat. Yuk.

But you may wish to ignore me. I'd kinda like to be married to Philip Schofield.... Blush

Crumblevision · 02/02/2018 22:28

I would OP

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 02/02/2018 22:28

that I recorded even though DS is 12.

Me too. Grin

Emily7708 · 02/02/2018 22:30

Oh god I agree Ant Middleton is perfect.

Koala72 · 02/02/2018 22:37

I'd kinda like to be married to Philip Schofield....

No, that's good ... if we all liked the same type then it would be mean on the other ones ..

A Lancashire accent doesn't preclude that

  1. I have a Lancashire accent. Paddy has a comedy northerner accent.
  2. I'm really struggling to see 'clearly very bright'.
  3. Ewww.
OnlyFoolsnMothers · 02/02/2018 22:39

Sorry you’re very much mistaken, think you meant to say Anthony Joshua!

overnightangel · 02/02/2018 22:40

@DilysPrice
The welsh accent is a deal breaker for me,can’t stand it!

Sparklingbrook · 02/02/2018 22:42

I think Paddy McGuinness would be fun.

Nobody can beat Rob Lowe though.

HappyLollipop · 02/02/2018 22:44

Since when did Paddy come across as bright? @OnlyFoolsnMothers - Anthony Joshua is so dreamy, he's got the body of a god!

ShackUp · 02/02/2018 22:45

dilysprice you need to do something about your errant child instead of spending the evening discussing Welsh hunks on Mumsnet. Anyway, I thought Trevor Evans was more your cup of tea? Grin

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 02/02/2018 22:47

Yeah but Anthony still lives with his Mum. That’s not good.

Deshasafraisy · 02/02/2018 23:00

No he doesn’t, he’s got a wife and a load of kids.

InNeedofABoost · 02/02/2018 23:03

I can't stand that man.
His accent is repellent. He seems pretty stupid judging from his base level humour - I have no idea where you get him being "bright" from - but I guess that is relative. I work with people who are genuinely highly intelligent and highly educated so maybe I'm an unfair judge.
In terms of being "a catch" he has a ridiculous and unimportant job that adds nothing of value to the universe that someone else couldn't do. I'd rather date a doctor.

I also think he is physically very unattractive - he has a very "ratty" lower class looking face.

IMO I think you are mad.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 02/02/2018 23:06
Confused
DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 02/02/2018 23:10

Oh did he get married recently? I knew he had kids but he did live with his Mum until last year at least.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 02/02/2018 23:11

What the fuck is a “lower class looking face”? Other than being ratty? Hmm

MargotLovedTom1 · 02/02/2018 23:11

"...lower class looking face,"? I'm now pondering whether my face is a true indicator of my social class Grin.

MargotLovedTom1 · 02/02/2018 23:14

Apparently he got married in 2011, so sounds unlikely that he'd been living with his mother up until last year, unless he has a very understanding wife.

Scaredofthegym · 02/02/2018 23:18

No.
Google the story of him kicking off in a nail salon in Cheshire after his nitwit of a wife accused one of the guys there of saying he had a "hard on" as he gave her a pedicure.

It's my local salon, the staff are Thai and he actually said she had "hard skin" on her feet - but that's by the by. That Mcguinnness knobhead went storming in shouting and threatening the little unassuming Thai fella (who I happen to know and he's lovely) like a complete bellend.

He totally went down in my estimation after that.

PookieSnackenberger · 02/02/2018 23:20

WTAF? Are you on drugs? or are you his (long suffering) wife?

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 02/02/2018 23:22

I definitely heard AJ speaking on something last year, or late 2016, saying he still lives with his Mum in her two bed house.
