Children's TV characters you just can't stand

As a parent subjected to the joys of cbbc and beyond, I now have a deepset hate of Mr Tumble, Barney (don't get me started!!), Sophia the first and Doc McStuffins and her long running battle with Munchausen by proxy, to name but a few.
What children's tv characters really put your teeth on edge?

Has no one said Tig from Wooly and Tig yet? Aaaaaargh! I'm sure the poor child just can't act for toffee but it drives me wild "it's only a toy spider!!" FUCK OFF!

I just think she's a spoiled brat who is used to getting her own way. And her parents leave it to a stuffed arachnid to teach her life lessons in kindness and sharing.

Rosie from Everything's Rosie. Adult voice as a child doesn't work and just sounds creepy. I also misheard the lyrics of the theme song for years and thought they were calling Oakly the tree 'Nosely' because he has got a big nose and that really put me off the piss taking cow.

Yes to T&T's dad - what an embarrassing bastard.

Norman bloody Price from fireman Sam. Oh that kid gives me the full on rage and he should be in a delinquents home.

Postman Pat, can never just deliver the post without some disaster yet is the villages hero!

The Aunt from Teacup Travels. Especially the early episodes when she would only allow one child in to hear a story whilst the other one had to wait at the gate with his/her Mum.

Love Go Jetters and Hey Duggee. Wish they'd re-show Come Outside, loved watching that when my eldest was small.

I like Bing but I’ve never actually payed attention to his behaviour.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who hates Topsy and Tim. I can only assume that this was commissioned and written by people with no children but an unrealistic idea of what perfect parents they would be.

Bloody Bing - the cartoon embodiment of every single annoying feature of children I know and am not particularly keen on. And Pando needs told to keep his fucking trousers on.

Peppa Pig and Ben & Holly I can tolerate, but everything else on Nick Jr (Paw Patrol, Blaze, Wallykazam, stupid frilly genie things) just get on my wick.

I can't fathom how anyone could take issue with Duggee.

Disney Jr isn't great either - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is good for nothing but melting tiny brains, and I had forgotten about Special Agent Oso

I’d love to go back to the CBeebies days! Mine are now older and verging on obsessive about various YouTubers who I can fully assure you are every bit as annoying 😫 but I am partial to class dismissed though, I find it hilarious, though I’m sure that says a lot about my underdeveloped sense of humour!

I hate the young boy characters who obviously have a woman doing the voice and it sounds strained and awful, specifically Horrid Henry and Tree Fu Tom

I also noticed the other day on the credits.. the actor who plays Topsy and Tims Dad is also singing the theme song at the beginning

Mr Tumble came to film at my son's special school we had to give permission in case they used ds2 in the filming , they didn't use ds2 I think they were worried he might bite him does anyone remember handy manny and his annoying tools?

T&T’s dad is dreadful. I’m not mad on their mum either though...

I was a bit bugged by the hospital episode I watched recently of topsy and Tim. The Mum is staying in hospital with topsy so presumably wearing clothes out of an overnight bag, yet appears in a perfectly ironed creaseless white shirt and chinos each day

All of the characters are annoying as hell, but I think Aunt Loretta is just terrible. I only saw the series with the kid who is ‘hilariously’ named Jason Mason!

The repeated phrases in Peter Rabbit. There should be a drinking game:

Paw Patrol - why is Chase the centre of everything, every time? And why is Zuma left out all the time? I am sad for Zuma. I even had to order a little Zuma on wheels direct from China to make up the set because Zuma gets less merchandising.

And I loathe Topsy and Tim, but love Hurrah for Gin's take on them.
