She looks good, has a great career with plenty of holidays, from the face of it has a fantastic husband and marriage. And most importantly she comes across like she is a fantastic mother. So patient and calm. Im jealous but admire her too in equal measures. AIBU??????

She often looks way out of her depth on This Morning. On the rare occassion they cover something a bit more serious she looks bewildered, and puts her concerned face on.

BelfortGabbz · 28/01/2018 20:24

I think she's lovely, looks like good fun on a night out.

Agree with 'THEY' have lots of Nannies!

usualGubbins · 28/01/2018 20:25

Her and Schofield annoying as fuck!

ShowerGel9 · 28/01/2018 20:31

I'm sorry. Im really sorry.

But her eyes are too wide apart for my own eyes to behold her beauty and too small..

Her concerned face on this morning is just bloody insulating as she is obviously very thick to earn her money and have the intelligence to hold an interview.

Ten years time and she will be looking older and haggard and she won't be that young girl anymore who can get away with being an airhead on all that money and trusted with the responstability of covering delicate, personal subjects. She bloody well comes alive at the fashion spot. Thick as

MamaMiaReboot · 28/01/2018 20:36

@showergel Boo yah shucks

But acknowledge you acknowledged opposition posters. Grin

Holly is definitely NOT thick, or “not beautiful” albeit subjective.

Hey hoy. Each to their own

ShowerGel9 · 28/01/2018 20:40

Isn't it 'ya boo shucks?' Confused

Plumes · 28/01/2018 20:41

Ladies, ladies. It's 'ya boo sucks.

Feliciaxxx · 28/01/2018 20:41

She has always reminded me of the Joker in the Batman films?!! Something to do with her smile I suppose . . .

Misswiggy · 28/01/2018 20:42

I'm not gonna slag off hw as I'm sure she's v nice but I can't actually watch this morning anymore unless eamonn and Ruth are on - they are so mucH More natural and funny than Philip and holly. It's like h&p are forced to cultivate this (fake) friendship for the sake of the show - and I'm so glad others have mentioned the tedious getting drunk at the nta's and "ooh will they won't they show up" crap.

Agree with person who said they're more likely to be jealous of Emma Willis - now she seems lovEly inside and out and also has spoken openly about relationship problems etc(think her hubby was an alcoholic) - she seems v.genuine

LastGirlOnTheLeft · 28/01/2018 20:44

Yes, it is 'Yah, boo sucks'. Grin

Holly is obviously pretty dim....IIRC some years ago she did a web chat here with her sister and they were both exceptionally disappointing. BUT...she is perky and sweet and seems to know how to handle that utter buffoon Schofield. So hats off to her for that, because I would have murdered him by now/

SandyY2K · 28/01/2018 20:45

I like Holly. She's a sweet lovely lady.

gluteustothemaximus · 28/01/2018 20:46

I'd stay with my looks, my DH, my mothering skills, my job, but I'd quite fancy her money Grin

MamaMiaReboot · 28/01/2018 20:47

Isn't it 'ya boo shucks?

I was being ironic Grin

KERALA1 · 28/01/2018 20:47

You loon op! She is her and you are you that's that.

Plus she has too many "l"s in her name

ShowerGel9 · 28/01/2018 20:50

Mama. You have lost me. I'm obviously as dim as HW Grin

JanetStWalker · 28/01/2018 20:50

Has anything bad ever happened to HW or has her life always been nothing but rainbows and kittens? She appears to have glided through life, reaching her mid thirties getting everything she desires with ease.
Some people are just born luckier than others I guess.

PunkrockerGirl59 · 28/01/2018 20:50

I don't envy her at all having to work with Philip smug twat Schofield. I don't think she's the brightest spark but I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
And she does herself no favours at all by appearing on the pile of wank that is celebrity juice. Her family must be so proud when they watch her on that Confused

RadioDorothy · 28/01/2018 20:53

I came to say its a bit mean to slate someone we don't know in real life...but then I bored myself. As you were.

Shadow1986 · 28/01/2018 20:57

I love Holly! Don’t agree with PP who think she is smug at all. She comes across so genuine! She cries easily on the show because she genuinely feels empathy for people. And not only is she genuine, she comes across fun and positive! I wish I had her stylist I envy every outfit!
And I’m pretty sure her Mum does the majority of any childcare needed. Not that having a nanny would be a bad thing anyway! She probably makes it home in time to pick the kids up from school most days!

Love this thread as at work we have a thing about how dead behind the eyes HW looks and how Mail Online says she 'wows her fans'...

Thick, and also vanilla.

Don't watch much telly and never her programme but I do read the news so she is inescapable and therefore to my shame I have an opinion of her.

Bluntness100 · 28/01/2018 21:10

In my experience people who manage to have careers as successful as she has , as young as she is, are far from thick, in fact they are normally hugely intelligent.

She does the job expected of her well, and she is a hugely popular presenter. Her private life is hers.

I'm surprised at the level of envy driving people to call her thick. I'm assuming these people haven't had one percent of her success.

Oh to be so thick. Eh?

Shadow1986 · 28/01/2018 21:12

Three is no way Holly is dim or thick. Are you serious?! She presents LIVE TV almost everyday of the week!! She must be super intelligent and switched on...there are not many people that could do what she does.

LastGirlOnTheLeft · 28/01/2018 21:14

Bluntness, come on...are you REALLY suggesting success and money are intrinsically linked to intelligence and that one CANNOT be successful without being smart?

Really?

That is a huge insult to many intelligent people working minimum wage or not working at all!

WitchesHatRim · 28/01/2018 21:19

Having worked with people from that sort of field, I would say there is a huuuuggggeeeee dollop of good luck and being at the right place at the right time thrown into the mix.

Good careers and intelligence don't always go hand in hand.
