The press seem to like writing about this woman as a "victim".
AIBU to wish she'd get arrested for obtaining the Tramadol illegally when she gets off the plane back here?

"What did she do that was so terrible?" Er...DRUG SMUGGLING! Which does ruin lives and cause deaths!

Tramadol is an extremely strong opioid drug that is a controlled prescription drug in the uk, highly addictive and is banned altogether in several countries.

As I said on other thread/s on this case I do not buy for one second she didn't know EXACTLY what she was doing. Although I do think he should have been done too.

I'm also not buying it was the first time she did it.

No sympathy whatsoever. Would much rather the foreign office was helping genuinely innocent Brits in trouble abroad than wasting time and money on a drug smuggler.

I think people are being misled/confused by the fact it's a prescribed drug. If it were ecstasy/Coke/even marijuana there wouldn't be anywhere near this much misguided sympathy

Ha!

Then op posted this

"she's not a drug smuggler because tramadol is medication not drug" that was in local news. That's the problem people don't understand the seriousness of what she did.

She's shown NO remorse NO accountability NO shame whatsoever.

Glad she's not being released.

mustbemad17 · 30/01/2018 19:56

The biggest question for me...will she still be keeping in touch with her wanker of a 'husband' if/when she is released? Probably!!

I hope they don't let her out. The FO have more important Brits to get home first if Bo Jo hasn't permanently damaged things with his big feet

Tistheseason17 · 30/01/2018 20:10

I agree @Graphista
She put the Tramadol in multiple paracetamol boxes to try and avoid detection.

Not sure why people think she's naive. Her BF was in another country when she did this. Doubt it was first time.

According to this The Sun were mistaken in saying she was being pardoned at all: uk.news.yahoo.com/laura-plummer-remain-egyptian-prison-184725805.html

RoseWhiteTips · 30/01/2018 20:42

She might still have a bit of a wait. I don’t buy that she was naive.

ArntNise · 30/01/2018 22:37

@EddieMarsWife. I totally agree
