Whilst I survive the week on my own with a 7 week old and toddler whilst DP is away for work?

I probably sound like a wimp but it's the first time he has been away for that long since we've been together (6years). I don't have any plans apart from seeing my DM on Tuesday which feels like a lifetime away.
Last night was night 2 on my own I'm co sleeping with the baby so no downtime really and for some reason DS1 (2.5yrs) woke up thrashing and crying/whining and wanting a long cuddle. He woke up again at about 3am and was crying and I have no clue why, he's usually a brilliant sleeper and goes 7pm-6am with no wakings Confused. Now I'm effectively on alert all night.

I've no money until payday to afford any days out or playcentres etc
I've stocked up on quick foods in case I have a bad day and no time to cook.

I'm currently putting DS2 down for a nap, DS1 is rolling on the rug watching Octonauts and I really hope I can have 5 to whip up some food.

Op in a funny way, you will come to miss those days when it's just the three of you and your boys can't get enough of mummy 😬! Just give it 14/15 years!

@MumJ21 I try to do that sometimes but mr.needy usually end up screaming within a minute of being put down.

Last night wasn't great, DS1 woke up crying around 1am and climbed out of his cot to look for his daddy, I was a bit stuck as was BFing DS2 so told him to come in bed for a cuddle.
So I was squished between both of them as DS1 was trying to get as close to me as he could and I was thinking exactly what you wrote @MissEliza Grin although I might have also been wishing for my personal space, body parts and non aching spine back.

He woke up again at 5am wanting juice so I got him a drink and let him come in bed for the rest of the morning.

Ds2 was also really unsettled all night. Struggled to fall asleep, thrashed about, kept spitting his dummy out and then crying about it.

But hey ho sleep is for the weak Wink
On that note I'm going to make myself another Brew

Today has dragged on.

DS1 is still not well and very teary and irritable. I've managed to get him to have some berries and an orange in the morning (he refused any yogurt/toast/normal breakfast suggestions) Confused
He's had about 350-400mls of fluids and convinced him to take a few bites of the pasta I made and also had some peas with it.
Apart from that he is flat out refusing any other food but has asked for a lollipop Hmm

DS2 seems to be sleeping off last night shenanigans, no matter what I try for the past 3 - 4hours or so he has just woken up for a feed and dropped straight back to sleep which is making me dread what tonight will be like.

Not sure if I should give DS1 a bath tonight since he has a cold?

Sorry, I've been at work late.
How did the bath go? X
Is DH back tonight?
