Ellie Goulding, very rude
Taylor Swift was of the 'don't look at her in the eyes' gang
Tony Blair utter knob as was his awful awful wife
Craig David rude, obnoxious and wore ridiculous sunglasses inside at 11pm.

Most I've met are getting on with life and not into celeb status, very nice people. Those above are the exception!

Destiny33 · 19/01/2018 18:27

First post so hi :)

Worst celeb was Robbie Coltrane. At the height of Harry Potter fame he was very rude to my mother when she met him at a petrol station and asked for an autograph as her grandson was a big fan. Never met him personally but on two separate occasions in two separate companies, lets just say comments weren't favourable.........

Went to see Sunset Boulevard in London many years ago when John Barrowman was starring. We had just arrived in London and round to the theatre early afternoon. We went round to the stage door and he arrived for rehearsal. So very lovely and happy to pose for a photo. He was relaxed and chatty and just wanted us to be happy with the pic :)

Now...... first post so far too long but Michael Ball is an absolute sweetheart. Met him on many occasions and he even remembered my name! So talented and lovely and adores his fans.

Flitwick · 19/01/2018 18:27

The not nice ones...

2/5 of one direction were unbearable dicks. On the other hand, one was so lovely that he got in touch with me and donated to a charity after my Dad died. They’d only met once.

Boris Becker is really bloody odd.

Janet Jackson was really rude, but then again it wasn’t long after MJ had died so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.

Gwyneth Paltrow was so rude. Chris Martin apologised for her.

Nice ones- Ed Sheeran, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Tony Blair (I was surprised...), Bill Nighy, Will Smith and family, everyone in the Harry Potter films...

I’ve met the Backstreet Boys and David Beckham.

The Backstreet Boys were lovely. David Beckham was an absolute arse who I regret meeting because I really liked him before.

notsodimwit · 19/01/2018 18:44

Ah. Yes. Victoria Beckham. Brought the boys to an event I was working at, then sulked in the corner and played with her phone refusing to speak to or look at anyone.

The boys were delightful though. Polite and charming.

TooGood2BeFalse · 19/01/2018 19:12

Buster Merryfield -think I was about 6 Blush Remember him being very sweet and kind.

Rolf Harris!! At a Waterstones. He seemed a gent, used to watch Animal Hospital as a kid. Was shocked when the news came out.

Bruce Forsythe on a plane to the USA Grin 17 years ago (i was 12/13) He was LOVELY!

Bear Grylls. Utter bell-end.

bravobravo · 19/01/2018 20:16

ArcheryAnnie The 'let's not go there(s)' were not necessarily unpleasant but more front page material..
Put it this way, I'm not suprised you recieved a 'smacker' from GJ...
I think she's great by the way.

bravobravo · 19/01/2018 20:19

received do we still correct ourselves on MN?

Shenanagins · 19/01/2018 20:22

Frank Bruno was utterly charming when I asked for his autograph even though I had rudely interrupted his meal.

Tink2007 · 19/01/2018 20:23

Turnocks34

See I met DB and he was an absolute arse, not only to me but to a few others as well. It really ruined my like of him.

iamyourequal · 19/01/2018 20:35

Toyah Wilcox is really lovely. I used to serve her regularly in a restaurant I worked in. She was really down to earth with lovely manners and I must say she eats like a little bird!

Wollstonecraft1 · 19/01/2018 20:40

Craig Revel Horwood was SO lovely to DD when she was totally in awe of him.

Emma Thompson as lovely as you would hope and imagine.

Sarah Millican so funny, friendly and sharp and intelligent.

Gordon Brown was rude and dismissive which is a shame as I really rated him politically but I suppose he doesn't exactly hide that side of him.

wonkylegs · 19/01/2018 20:42

Ooo I forgot I know George Clarke from uni - hmm he's a bit of a smug know it all arse (yep I've had a few otherwise I'd be more tactful)

MrsFring · 19/01/2018 20:43

I had lunch with Andrew Motion, still get the fanny-gallops thinking about it.

Mike Read put his hand up my skirt and asked me out simultaneously.

Anthony Hopkins was massively up himself.

Nigella, just yuk.

wonkylegs · 19/01/2018 20:45

And Kevin McCloud is a terribly boring public speaker although he's a bit better face to face (he talked at an awards ceremony I was at and was incredibly dull but was nicer when he came and sat at the table and chatted to us)

StrumpersPlunkett · 19/01/2018 20:51

I met Dick and Dom coming out of an event at the London olympics. Dh dated me so I totally annoyed them by saying “bogeys” under my breath as we walked past the to catch our train. They laughed and shouted bogies back 👍👍

Stylinson · 19/01/2018 20:52

Flitwick, One of the horrible ones from 1D is LP in my experience....
And surely the nice one is HS???

HangingRoundInABofAlorsStance · 19/01/2018 20:53

Being a huge Glitterball and Tardis fan, it is lovely to hear that Craig RH and John Barrowman are nice.
