If I was being cynical I would say she was looking for fame having realised his position would at least get her in the media spot light which it has and other plans have failed (she is not really interested in an actual proper relationship with this sad old loser) this is her last chance ditch attempt to ensure no one forgets about her any time soon. Now everyone will know who she is and we will soon see the interviews etc
