Hi all, this may sound silly and if my partner where to know I was thinking this he would properly laugh at me!

But I've been really really unhappy about the way I look for a really long time.

On the first of Feb I'm starting a knew life journey. I'm a mum and I work, we don't eat great at all mainly bingeing o takeaway (apart from my child).

My knew goal is to do a HUGE body and health transformation on myself and family.

I have wrote up everything

Such as healthy meals my weight goal would mean making 6 meals a day and ecersizeing but of course being a wife and mother its hard so I've made meals for my husband and child from my own good if you get what I mean.

I'm 100% this is going to change mine and my families life and I want to share it with other people.

However mumsnet is the only social account i have. I don't do Facebook or is ta or anything and don't like having my face or my families on the internet.

Do you guys think it would be okay and a good idea if I did a knew like youtube channel and tried to help other struggling mum's to make them self and their families gather. But here's the catch
...I would have too have my face blurred. Would this be weird. Would you be like...err no

I understand it's a lot of work doing a YouTube channel so it might be a lot on top of work and learning new habits. I think it sounds like a nice idea, but you'd have to be comfortable with putting yourself out there un blurred. And, I mean this kindly, but if the comments here are upsetting then I really think you would need a thicker skin.

Try a diary or a blog if you want something to keep you accountable, and it would be less identifying too. It's a kind idea though

You could start a thread on here in weight loss chat. People like sharing ideas and there’s s lot of support there.

I agree with the idea of keeping your own video diary/vlog. I bet it'll be really motivating to see you making progress when you watch it back. Depending on their ages the kids may enjoy filming it too.

Ditch the YouTube idea though, you really have to be quite social media savvy to succeed at that and it sounds like you're not really into social media. I also agree with those who say it wouldn't work with blurred faces. Popular YouTubers and bloggers are liked because people think they know them.

I think you should definitely look at Instagram. Why don’t you sign up and have a look at a few accounts to see the kind of thing people post. I created one as a diary for my ww progress (haha there wasn’t any and have given up now) and I only had photos of food, scales, magazine etc. Do loads of hashtagging and you will get more followers. But in the first instance don’t worry about that, just treat it as a journal for your benefit.

Good luck with your new healthy eating plan, regardless of wether you end up helping others it’s a great thing you are doing for yourself and your family.
