I agree the smoking one was really bad. The only one that I thought was OK was the one with the baby sitting next to the pint of beer as though he had just had a pint. I didn't feel particularly comfortable with the breast feeding one either tbh - not sure why. I think you were right to contact your DHs colleague and point out that it is totally inappropriate to circulate these.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 26/04/2007 11:31

The sandwich one...It's like Anne Geddes gone wrong.

She's got a lot to answer for

Hillls · 26/04/2007 11:32

well we know what she looks like so she had better watch out there's bound to be a Mnetter about!!

jampot · 26/04/2007 11:32

the pictures arent there - have i missed

BendandBreak · 26/04/2007 11:32

and

People like this shouldn't be allowed to procreate. Unfortunately, there are lots of sick bastards in the world.

These people should be reported to MN, social services and definitely the police.
This is worse than the recent report of the child-fighting incident.

Those poor poor children.
I feel sick to my stomach and quite upset by those pictures.

SoupDragon · 26/04/2007 11:32

Hillls, they're not all the same family or from the same place. They could just as easily be American, Irish...

(I loved the gaffer taped baby too. Assuming, of course, that's not how they leave their baby for any length of time at all)

rumpypumpy · 26/04/2007 11:33

Yes Margo - exactly what I thought about the sandwich one!

Hillls · 26/04/2007 11:33

I think MNHQ has deleated them

SoupDragon · 26/04/2007 11:35

Oh FGS this is nowhere near as bad as the fighting children case!! I would bet my precious firstborn child on the fact that none of the children in those photos were hurt.

TheWoman · 26/04/2007 11:35

I agree with Soupy.

SoupDragon · 26/04/2007 11:36

The OP put them on a picture trail to show us and she deleted them. MN have no control over Picturetrail!

staceym11 · 26/04/2007 11:36

i deleted the pics as i now feel that they are totally inappropriate and were making me quite sick.

thanks for the views girls!

They are sick, How can someone do that to their child its beyond belief.

SoupDragon · 26/04/2007 11:42

I have a photo of DS1 stuck in a catflap, of DS2 apparently drinking a pint of beer at a wedding (of course he didn't), Hub2Dee has a series of photos of his DD in a shoebox, I have a photo of a pile of boxes all labelled ready for our move, one of which is labelled "DS2 - SHED" (of course he wasn't in the box,nor does he live in the shed)... I@m sure there are more.

Hillls · 26/04/2007 11:45

Well thats up to you but I personally think these photos are sick like many others have said. These babies were put in this situation, they are not toys.

Hillls · 26/04/2007 11:46

BTW i'm not saying you treat your children as toys I'm just taling about the person who posted these photos.

staceym11 · 26/04/2007 11:47

what me? i didnt take the photos? please dont start on me..........im as sickened by it as you lot are

OP posts:
Hillls · 26/04/2007 11:47

Its still abuse but in a different form.

MamaD · 26/04/2007 11:54

It wasn't A mother it was a number of mothers. These photos have been around for ages - I'd go as far as to say years.

I was sent the duct tape one around the time I first had my dd - and she's 2 now! (with the caption 'one way to keep her quiet').

They are just photos - these kids weren't really eaten, microwaved, drunk, allowed to spark up etc........

I am far more sicked by the fact that someone thinks these photos are worse than the 'dog fighting' children - THOSE kids really were hurt and may well be scarred for life.........

staceym11 · 26/04/2007 12:08

no i do agree they are nothing compared to the toddlers fighting, now that is severly depressing.

OP posts:
Hillls · 26/04/2007 12:10

But its still bad in its own right, I know the toddler fight was bad but this should not be deemed less of an evil.
