I'm usually out when our bins are collected but due to Christmas at home today. Our bins have been collected and it made remember that my Mum used to make my siblings and I hide from the bin men when we were younger because she was embarrassed at how much rubbish she put out. We would have to put the tv or lights off and generally pretend to not be in.
Why? Did anyone else's family have this rule?
