My mum just asked me this, Just for fun and it took me ages to think of an answer!

If you had...

Boy/Boy. Girl/Girl. Boy/Girl.

What names would you choose?

Just trying to cheer myself up today with some light hearted baby name fun.

I have twins. Every single twin I met throughout my pregnancy gave me the same advice.

  1. Don't give them "twin" names
  2. Don't dress them the same
  3. Don't give them joint bday presents.
FlawlessFuckup · 26/12/2017 10:07

Henry and Martha

moggle · 26/12/2017 10:12

I’ll have twin boys by mid jan and we’re planning to call them (probably) Rufus and Edward. Rufus is more definite, Edward might change. If it was 100% my decision I would probably go Rufus and Rowan.

DesignedForLife · 26/12/2017 10:16

Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.

We have twins and we knew they were boy/girl from about 20 weeks. For the rest of the pregnancy we referred to them as Luke & Leia.

More than one person thought we were actually going to call them that once they were born. 😄

TinselTwat · 26/12/2017 10:24

I don’t know but if you’d asked me when I was a child (l was heavily influenced by Enid Blyton) I would have given you names like Felix and Felicity, Harriet and Harry, Henrietta and Henry etc. Etc. Thank goodness my tastes have changed!

yousignup · 26/12/2017 10:27

Cheese and Onion.

Kim82 · 26/12/2017 10:27

I have twin boys & they have safe names.

If we'd had girls I would have called them Beatrice and Clementine.

KiteMarked · 26/12/2017 10:30

Joseph and Thomas

Arthur and Helena

Elisabeth and Dorothy

Dh wouldn't agree to these names though. We have very different tastes.

FlawlessFuckup · 26/12/2017 10:32

GG - Alice and Lydia
BB - Rhuben and Rowan

Glitteryfrog · 26/12/2017 10:42

Bb - Robert and Thomas
Gg - Elizabeth and Katherine
Gb - Katherine and Robert

rizlett · 26/12/2017 10:43

We always play this game even though it would be a miracle if any baby actually arrived!

Our current favourite is both our surnames but the other way round irrespective of boys/girls.

So for example - twin 1 - Rizlett McKenzie and twin 2 - McKenzie Rizlett.

We'd also have one each and see who bought up the best behaved/naughtiest one.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 26/12/2017 10:43

Bubble and Trouble
