Here's ours - we can't put presents underneath as I have 4 Beagles!

Our presents are all in bags on our dining room table!

Note that all our nice baubles are on the top, and "disposable" ones are further to the bottom.

Here’s ours. 2 dds are still awake upstairs so we are guarding the tree. Our presents go in Santa sacks and are not wrapped, just small secret Sara presents under the tree. It’s a bit dark but if we turn the lights on, dc may come down!

Are everyone's kids asleep now? My baby is only 3mo so I don't have to worry about her seeing me. But next year I will probably have to stay up til 4am.

DD likes tinsel

Before she had any say I had a lovely tree with red & gold colour scheme & it looked so lovely. Then DD decided it was utter pants & needed lots of tinsel. And thus it has been more tinselly for the past 7 years.

I don't think you can fit more tinsel next year @plectrum you will have to get a tree will branches made from tinsel

I’m glad DD can’t read this, that’s just giving her all the wrong ideas... Can’t wait til she moves out in 6 years time I might get to see the lights. And baubles. And branches again too!

Not much tree I concede

Here’s mine. So much better with presents.

Still awake waiting for DC age 16 and 19 to go to bed so Father Christmas can put their stockings at the end of their bed.
Tree is a bit big this year as I left it late to buy it and like the nice ones that smell and I am a bit -very- fussy and like a 'bushy' tree (stop sniggering). This was the 'only' one left. Children decorate it together with mix of homemade decorations - hand prints and bells and squashed up empty choc money wrappers and decorations bought on holidays. I tidy up after the children have finished. They told me this year they know I rearrange someof the decorations when I don't like the same colours together etc ! Love doing the tree each year. Happy Christmas everyone.

Here is ours from earlier on today as we open presents on the 24th in the evening. (Yes that is candles you can see)

I'm more proud of my table all set for tomorrow than my tree or presents. Love it all though.

Stockings are by the fire in another room and main presents are in their rooms, so just family presents under the tree. I only put them there today due to the dog's appetite for paper
