To blimmin love Liza Tarbuck on R2?

She's got me through many a lonely/boring Saturday evening and is a bit of a legend in my eyes.
Loving the music tonight too.

Yuck, she is so false.

I really like her show she makes me laugh

I’m not a fan either. I dislike her enough to turn the radio off.

I miss Dermot O Learys show, it just doesn’t work in the mornings

I dont mind her. She is a bit bonkers which I like.

Cant abide Sarah Cox though; her accent, the way she talks and sucks air through her teeth - just awful.

Dont like Carys Matthews either but she seems to be popping up all over radio with her child-like voice at the moment.

I like Zoe Ball & Johny Vaughan but nobody comes clise to Terry Wogan, even after all these years. He left big shoes to fill.

“Cheeky glass of vino” is like nails down a blackboard to me. I think Liza is nice but her chat is a bit inane. I find many of the people calling in to R2 annoying and smug.

I think she's great. I love her cheerfulness.

I think she’s perfect for the time slot - I really like her.
I want to like Chris Evans but it’s just not happening.
Can’t stand Zoe Ball. Literally turn the radio off when ever she’s on.

That Saturday evening R2 slot used to be Alan Carr and it was brilliant. We don't listen anymore. Liza Tarbuck just had a hard act to follow

Every time Alan Carr comes on, I turn the radio off, I loathe him.

I also loathe Alan Carr.

I'm really surprised at the number of people that enjoy her show! I find her fake and irritating. It feels like she is deliberately dumbing things down. She might not be, she might be genuinely a bit inane, but it feels like I'm being patronised when I listen.

Are there any Elaine paige fans here too? Another fake radio dj. She's even worse..

Liza Tarbuck is very marmite, I can't stand the show personally, know someone who loves it, but can't imagine anyone just feeling indifferent to it.

Elaine Paige on the other hand - I have never ever met a person irl who likes her, and I have never seen anyone admitting to liking the show on MN. Ditto Gregg Wallace (TV not radio, but still). Their continued employment by the BBC is a total mystery.

Listened to it last night in the car on a long journey. ..we all thought she sounded drunk!!

Cant stand Liza or Elaine, patronising and irritating.

Can just about manage not to turn Sara(h?) or Zoe off now, but it took a fair while with Sara.

Like Vanessa though, so at least there is one woman presenter ...

Alan Carr and Ken Bruce both horrific too.

I love Zoe Ball - but can't stand Jo Whiley. Could she get any further up a celebs ass ????? Heard her interview Liam Gallagher earlier in the year and she was cringe making 😰

She always sounds drunk. She can hardly spit her words out.

Love her show, dont get to hear it now due to work and they have dire radio taste!
Its like having a friend round for a chat and a laugh with great mix of music.
Great if you are driving to keep you sane (ish)
