I offer up:

Get a grip

Keep your beak out

I feel sorry for your children

You sound like a bit of a cunt

We need a diagram. So 2015.

Don’t really see what’s wrong with asking AIBU though, in AIBU.

TheDowagerCuntess · 21/12/2017 08:40

When people give kind of stage directions to ‘cutting remarks’ offered.

So cringey!

Yes!

There's also often a 'big smile' involved.

SerPants · 21/12/2017 08:55

And the imaginary cathartic revenge plots. "Someone has parked opposite my drive and blocked me in". "I'll tell you what I would do. I would cover their car with liquid nitrogen, wait for the owner to return and then smash it to pieces with a sledge hammer in front of their astonished face. But that's just me grin" Fuck off.

Haha. yes. When in reality they'd just grumble a bit and do nothing. As opposed to actually, y'know, talking to people reasonably.

Or the "off you pop, cuntychops", "fuck off to the far side of fuck..." Not sure where these posters live but round here those conversations end with one person spending the night in a cell and the other getting their jaw wired.

Although they're still not as annoying as the "good hard stare/ tinkly little laugh and head tilt", which no-one else would even notice, much less care about.

Greenshoots1 · 21/12/2017 09:01

"fast forward"

TheNaze73 · 21/12/2017 09:48

The overuse of the term Limerence.

Somebody has been binned off, it happens, why does everything have to have a label?

peachgreen · 21/12/2017 10:12

"I know AIBU" / "I admit AIBU" - drives me bonkers, THAT'S NOT HOW ACRONYMS WORK. "I know am I being unreasonable" makes no sense!

loobyloo1234 · 21/12/2017 10:20

'If you think I'm a troll, report me'

ProseccoMamam · 23/12/2017 01:31

Picture or it didn't happen

hollowtree · 23/12/2017 01:44

A recently popular scathing report seems to be "oh good lord".

Cantuccit · 23/12/2017 02:27

"fast forward"

Oh yes, I hate this

And

'the upshot is'

'per se' (usually spelt 'per say')

Grow up

'Are you the OP's MIL/SIL/friend?!!!' (What are the chances of that?)Hmm

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 23/12/2017 11:50

I hate think too. "I work in a clinical role in a large hospital, think nurse". Twats. Not nurses, they're not twats.

Usernamegone · 23/12/2017 11:55

Report to HR - anything happens which may be vaguely related to work

WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 23/12/2017 13:08

"Literally shaking with rage"...I think that might be an exaggeration. Otherwise they really need to "get a grip".

"You sound entitled"
"What makes you so special"

GuidoTheKillerPimp · 20/11/2018 17:39

“I’m afraid...” at the start of a particularly condescending response.

Blanchedupetitpois · 20/11/2018 17:43

Are you always this __*

*anxious / controlling / rude / aggressive / etc

Girlicorne · 20/11/2018 17:49

Can you move/can you move somewhere cheaper? (threads about neighbours/high housing costs etc) We moved not through choice earlier this year, it cost us over 3k. No, people generally can't "just move"!!!!

Also the "outing" hobbies and log it with 101!

alreadyinchristmasmood · 20/11/2018 18:28

Did you mean to be so rude?
No is a complete sentence

And.... I use them both in real lifeConfusedBlush

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 20/11/2018 18:30

You're getting a hard time OP.

I don't know why but it bugs the hell out of me.

namechangeforthisobviously · 20/11/2018 18:42

HTH

And

CF

And the general mean spirited selfishness

SerenDippitty · 20/11/2018 21:53

yes, "narc" just means "I don't like this person, so I'm going to say they are pathologically selfish and manipulative to justify that"

I feel the same way about “toxic”, much overused word I feel.

Knittedfairies · 20/11/2018 22:43

Livid and fuming crop up on MN quite often, but rarely heard in real life.

IHopeThisIsAGoodIdea · 20/11/2018 22:47

"Time to get your ducks in a row."

"Did you mean to be so rude?"
