He's 7 months old and terribly constipated today. Every poo haa resulted in him crying in pain and ends up being little more than a pebble.
I've done bicycle legs, warm bath and massages to no avail. We have no fruit juices and I can't stand to see him upset anymore.

What can I do? Feel like such a crap mum just now, the poor mite.

get juices? i make what i call 'poo puree'. prunes and a cooking apple stewed and liquidised. i give it to him after dinner most nights and he loves it (it is really nice despite not looking very good). he's not had a bout of constipation since.

Had a full Ellas prune pouch and it only resulted in one, larger, tear inducing poo.

He isn't constipated in the sense it's not coming out but it is harder, pebble-ier like, tear causing and he needs to strain.

I'll nip to the pharmacist tomorrow. I've exhausted the tried and tested natural methods :(

Ella's prunes for the win 👍 good news. Try not to worry too much they do go through constipated stages for
No apparent reason often. Just need to
Keep him soft so he doesn't get a fear of going.

Another prune pouch mixed with stewed apple for breakfast.
And I'm going to try make a prune and chicken dish to portion and freeze to help aid digestion in the future.
