Kids have lots of uses, emptying the bins, putting out the bins, bringing in the bins.....

YANBU. It's whoever is standing nearest the kettle makes the tea.

Surely it's safer to teach them how to pour a glass of wine. Wouldn't want them scalding themselves now would we?

My mums trick would be to say "tea?" "Oh, yes I'd love one" "great I'll have one too, pop the kettle on" she's a great mum otherwise though. My son would gladly make me tea but he's only three so I can't let him (yet)

You need some Irish DNA if you're going to actually have one of these creatures on hand to make a proper cuppa. And you'll need a box of Barry's gold blend.

Otherwise I'd just get an Echo or a guinea pig.

You didn't start her early enough, you need to start them early enough that they think making you a cup of a tea is a privilege, not a chore!

You’re right talkin. I used to love making my dad coffee. My dad’s friend was sly, he would come round and start talking about coffee and how I never had better coffee than mine. So of course I jumped at the chance to make it didn’t know I was being played!
