Outside Christmas lights - what time to turn off?

Neighbours across the road have put some very bright, flashing Christmas lights outside their house, and tend to leave them on all night. Our bedroom is at the front of our house, so I'm getting disturbed at night when I'm trying to sleep. I'm all for decking the halls and prettying up the house but surely after a time, say 9 (?), the lights can be turned off?? Anyone else had this issue?

BackforGood you really can’t see that the flickering bright white lights of an outdoor string of lights is absolutely nothing like the gentle, gradual beam of sunshine?

I really don’t inahine most people sleep in 100% blackout

They need banning.

My friends dd recently spent a week in hospital thanks to the massive seizures sparked by her photosensitive epilepsy. She also has severe, lds and just doesnt have the capacity to not look at them. (( as helpfully suggested by neighbour Hmm ))

The streets got twattily competitive so dfriend has resorted to covering dds eyes with an eyemask if theyre going out in the afternoon / evening. Her school trandsport also has to do the same early morning and evening when she travels to school. Hilarious hey ?? Hmm

There's been WWIII in our street over flashing sodding lights. Even with thick quality curtains the lights put on an outside tree by a neighbour are disturbing - we can see a really gentle flashing, the closer neighbours are being driven mad. They actually hurt your eyes if you look out the window and are so distracting when you drive into the street.

Arrgghhh flashy blue white lights so annoying. I'm sensitive to light so I'm very conscious about this. I only pick warm lights so golden and soft and they never flash I don't even put them on fade. My oh hates it as he would have all the colours with a fit inducing flash. Christmas is not a rave ppl lol.
