  1. Beach: 1.5 hours drive
  2. Airport: 40 miles. There's a wonderfully convenient coach, which takes all the hassle out
  3. Mountains: dunno. A long way.
  4. Starbucks: There's probably one up three-quarters of a mile up the road, but I can never remember which coffee shop is which so maybe it is a Costa or Cafe Nero.
  5. Harvey Nicks: In another universe. I don't actually know what it is! Blush Posh shop, I think?

  1. Beach. 5 mins walk - I can see it from the bedroom window in my flat.
  2. Airport. 20 mins drive.
  3. Mountains. An international flight away - probably the closest are 2 hours flight.
  4. Starbucks. 15 minute walk.
  5. Harvey Nicks. Are there any outside the UK? Assuming not, then a 14 hour flight to London and then however long it takes to get from Heathrow by plane.

I'm most intrigued by the pp who said 10 mins from anything. What is this utopia you've found?

Kuriusoranj · 18/12/2017 07:16

Not from Heathrow by plane, obviously. That would be stupid. Flight then from Heathrow by road.
