To think FB sharing has REALLY gone beyond the pale now?

I've noticed that people are sharing even more mundane things than EVER before.

I used to think photos of people's very average looking dinners were bad....think "ordinary plate of potatoes and meat" with comments like "MMMM! Been waiting all day for this"

Who cares?

Now people I know...perfectly bright people, with a good education etc...are posting shots of their frigging fireplace...then panning over to show what's on TELLY!

I'm looking at a similar view myself love! Just chill out and enjoy yourself...I'm going to post a video of me picking up dog poo on my walk or something in protest!

A girl on my Facebook posted the other day to let us know she was going to head office instead of her normal office for work. Riveting.

I’m torn between continuing to follow an old acquaintance for all the cute new baby pictures and unfollowing for the hourly nappy-content/milk consumption updates.

Facebook uses an algorithm to show you more of the content you display an interest in OP. Stop clicking on it and you'll stop seeing as much.

I have a Facebook friend how rarely posts but when she does it's things like 'oh not again'. Cue flurries of PM me hon.

You don't need to unfriend. Simply unfollow and you will no longer see their inane updates but they'll have no idea as you'll still be friends.

Social media needs curaration. If you follow people who's stuff you don't actually want to see you only have yourself to blame!
