Isn’t this extremely offensive?

I was sent this. It’s in someone’s jacket on a flight to London. I find it extremely offensive, others thinks is tasteless.

I find it tacky and immature, and I’d assume the wanker wearing it wasn’t getting any and probably never has and wanted to pretend he was one of the lads but in reality didn’t have many friends.

I can’t say I’d be offended though, but I’d negatively judge, as I think most people would, inc my twenty year old daughter, and her female and Male friends.

He may as well have a sign on his back saying “I’m a total wanker”.

AskBasil · 09/12/2017 21:53

Get your friend to complain to the airline.

It's totally inappropriate for grown men to be going around wearing shit like this. It's aggressive behaviour.

yankeec · 09/12/2017 21:55

I find that very offensive. Graphic sexual imagery, even when in a slightly abstract form, should not be forced upon people.

Jayfee · 09/12/2017 22:02

Vile.

WanderingTrolley1 · 09/12/2017 22:06

Awful. Offensive and highly inappropriate to wear anywhere.

OtterInDisgrace · 10/12/2017 02:14

Is this the new ‘flashing’?

DeleteOrDecay · 10/12/2017 02:18

I think it's pathetic to be honest. Since when is watching porn something to brag about?

Xanadu44 · 10/12/2017 17:33

This is an album cover from a grindcore band who are part of the sub genre of pornogrind. If you're in to this it's just an album cover but I can definitely see who this is offensive to others. Or bad taste at least. As it's only drawn figures it's not exactly pornographic but I can see why people think it's bad taste.

pollymere · 10/12/2017 17:35

More cheerfully, saw a post on FB today where a woman thought -4' warning in her car was a man having a poo...

Thisisnotreallymyname · 10/12/2017 17:46

Sat in a pub a few years ago, having lunch.
A woman walked in , with partner and child around 7 yrs old.
Emblazoned on her T Shirt:
" Wanna Watch me Masturbate ?"
Wish I been grave enough to say something, but she looked like she'd be the kind to deck you !

Thisisnotreallymyname · 10/12/2017 17:47

brave not grave !!

Lizzie48 · 10/12/2017 17:56

I don't see what could be remotely funny about that. It's just gross and tasteless. He should have been told not to either wear the jacket or get off the flight. Yuck! Angry

OlennasWimple · 10/12/2017 18:00

It's gross

Presumably a companion piece to the car sticker I saw yesterday featuring a similar style stick man going down on a stick woman and the caption "I love sushi" Hmm

CercoCasa · 10/12/2017 18:06

Didnt some airline a while back ask a couple of 12 yr old girls to get off the plane as they were in shorts or casual wear? ANd this guy wasnt soething is very wrong

WillowWept · 10/12/2017 18:09

It’s grim.

But provides a useful indicator of the creeps one should avoid

manicmij · 10/12/2017 18:10

How did manufacturer get that okayed. It's offensive, bordering on pornographic as displayed in public.

Maireadplastic · 10/12/2017 18:16

My husband has never understood the pussy is like seafood thing. He loves both though.

to be pornogrind the lyrics have to be about extreme violence against women. i googled it last night. the example i found was disgusting. it was on a metal forum which refuses to be associated with it and certainly didn't dignify it with the term "subgenre".

DownTheChimney · 10/12/2017 18:21

I see it as natural selection
Totally agree

TatianaLarina · 10/12/2017 18:28

I think it’s offensive as well as tasteless - there’s a male supremacist subtext - woman on knees sexually serving man - that you see in standard porn.

If the ‘sign’ depicted a black person (not sure how you’d do that in monochrome but still) it would be very obviously racist.

To me this is very obviously misogynist.

CercoCasa · 10/12/2017 18:29

omg the whole thing is just vile music, album covers and what it represents...these people are v disturbed

BooksandSunandGandT · 10/12/2017 18:32

I think it’s quite offensive and I sure as hell wouldn’t want to sit next to someone wearing that.

Not that I think it really matters, but (as a couple of PP mentioned youth), I’m relatively young, not a parent, not a prude. I have an issue with this because the wearer is imposing his choices on others, and those choices include material which could reasonably be considered likely to cause offense / upset to others (and not just for reasons of individual taste, such as political slogans etc).

Xanadu44 · 10/12/2017 18:35

@tartanthemedchristmas oh well. As long as you've googled it and read about it on one forum you must know all about it then. Hmm

I was just offering an explanation of where it came from. The lyrics are supposed to be extreme. They are extreme about men too. Again I'm not saying this isn't tasteless. Just saying where it's coming from.
