So we have to come to work in one next Friday. The thought of paying for and wearing a tacky one is killing me. Bah humbug and all that...
Is there such a thing as a nice one? I'm thinking stars or something that i could possibly wear again?
Please help, oh wise ones!

I've got a really nice one from Dorothy Perkins, ivory with a sequinned reindeer. Not tacky at all

This made me laugh (sorry!). Surely ‘sequinned reindeer’ and ‘not tacky at all’ are a contradiction in terms?

I’ve got one that someone bought me about 5 years ago. Gets dragged out every year for this sort of thing, and will do until it falls to pieces!

As PP I got a non cheesy one a few years ago; wear it as/when needed then it goes back in a drawer for 11 months

It's like a wedding invite. You can't be made to join in if you don't want.

I've never worn a Christmas jumper. It would be a cold day in hell if I was to wear one. If I worked somewhere that did Christmas jumper day, I wouldn't participate. It's a fake tradition.

My children wear them every year...they love it but it annoys me, it's one more bloody thing to buy in an expensive month.

There are nice Xmas-t-shirts, whoever said they live in hot Australia.
I love Xmas jumpers, party poopers, the lot of yuz.
Only is tacky if you choose a tacky one.
DD has a lovely reindeer sweater, fluffy black and white.

My work have decided to combine it with the Christmas meal tonight. I am not wearing one.

My work made us decorate Xmas jumpers last year and wear them to the Xmas lunch. Sitting by the fireplace in a sweltering hot pub in an itchy jumper covered in tinsel and belles was not fun. After a few proseccos and a three course meal I had to take the damn thing off and got accused of being a Scrooge.

Who wants to wear a jumper on a night out??
