WikiLeaks dumps were large and basically anodyne. Never obvious how to weaponize. Yet a Trump team that cannot remember the date of Pearl Harbor was always instantly ready to go.

I may have posted this before at some time.

A very close acquaintance once saw Springsteen in concert and recalled a number they'd started which just wasn't right. Springsteen stopped playing, turned to his band and said something along the lines of 'We got that wrong - let's start again.' And they did.

I never saw it myself - but I did see Tortelier do it once. I draw no parallels of course - suffice to say that they were both fine musicians.

The Polish parliament has just passed two bills to give the ruling party control over judicial appointments and the supreme court. The government will also have power to reopen any court case from last 20 years. There was no consultation either with legal experts or the public.
