Judging seems very biased, they seem to pick a 'fall' guy or girl each week who they underscore so that Alexandra stays in. Shirley's dreadful nasally grating voice patronising everyone, Bruno flapping about and saying nothing, Tess and Claudia's dreadful 'comedy' skits, the dumbed down "in training" VTs that show bugger all actual training. Feel like I might not bother with it next year!

Claudia ruins the show imo - she’s an awful host & more cringe worthy than Brucie.
I don’t really like the other host either ( can’t remember her name ) but she’s better than Claudia. They defo need to get rid of those two & bring in some presenters with a bit more personality. Rylan Clark would be great.

I like Shirley's technical judging, but really think she needs to rein in her favouritism. Maybe she'll be better next year.

They need to ditch Bruno, replace him with Brendan (because the fighting between him and Shirley would make excellent television), and replace Darcey, lovely as she is, with Erin Boag. I'd have said Karen Hardy, but Erin has been so sweetly cutting on It Takes Two this year that I think she'd do a better job.

I don't mind Tess; she keeps the show running well. I'd like her to stop being so patronising, though. Claudia needs to stop the comedy interludes - ESPECIALLY the Terms and Conditions nonsense.

Two dances each week, no gimmickry, I'll let them keep Blackpool.

Cannot stand Debbie. Love, love, love Alexandra. I think Joe will win, and I like Shirley too, although she's a bit too technical in her comments.

It's definitely missing something. Len most likely, and the familiar dancers that left such as Natalie. The celebs are laclustre too.

I don’t especially like Alexandra Burke - too showbizzy-eyes brimming with tears-what, little old meeeeee? for my taste - but I feel sorry for her.

This show is career suicide for her, and she must know it. Every week she is publicly reminded of how unpopular she is with the voters. That won’t be lost on people considering casting her in future productions, will it? Irrespective of how well she dances and sings.

I think Alexandra is a great dancer, but I agree with Net, career suicide for her. She isn't popular with the public. I am finding it very bland this year I thought there was going to be tension between Darcy and Shirley, but that seems to have gone. Bruno is a parody of himself and Craig just seems bored. I bet they both go next year.

I also agree about the terrible costume choices. Awful

Karen Hardy, Anton are nice, they could be judges. Its like Darcy and Shirley don't have chemistry much.
I don't like Claudia either, cant watch the show because of her this year. Tess is alright.

I agree with you but I'm flummoxed how she won The X Factor - I thought the same of her then as everyone feels about her now. Different demographic, I suppose? But hard to see teenage girls voting for her... Strange one.

I was surprised that there was only one sportsperson this year (Jonnie). I think another one (or possibly even two) would have helped the 2017 cast seem more 'balanced'

I don't understand how Auntie hasn't noticed that Everyone Knows it's all filmed on Saturday and is still trying to fib to us every week. It's silly.
Also, nobody with an age in double figures wants to see the inane VTs where they link a Salsa to an ice-cream van in a graveyard (or something). Stop it.
Thirdly, the judges. But this is my most minor point and if the first two are sorted out I'll cope. But yeah, Craig and a whole new threesome please

Did anyone else notice how Craig's judging style changed the week Bruno was away? yes I noticed that...I enjoyed it that week.

But the VTs are necessary for set changes? Most of the Saturday night show is live.

Does anyone else think the lighting design is a bit rubbish? Sometimes I can barely see the dancers among the flashing lights and pyrotechnics. Or maybe I just need a new telly.

Shirley must be drunk cos Mollie was bloody awful. She def over acted by 20%!!
I like Gamma. DH hates Alex but concedes she is largely a good dancer (last week was poor). Alex will come 3rd I reckon - get to final cos she'll win any dance off except possibly against Debbie but won't get enough votes to win.

But not sure its worse than any other year.

I think the show is missing Len(or maybe that's just me!?)-and maybe needs new Judges! I think Anton would have been good and bring in some comedy that is missing now-(let's not mention any so called by Claudia)
Wish they would stop those bits and the VTs.

I don't miss Len at all, and the people I've talked to about Strictly agreed. Have you seen his new programme? Cringe!
