Why the hell doesn't Prince Harry put a little hair wax in his hair?!

And Prince William for that matter.

Bum fluff

I know they're balding.

Aibu to think this?

They make a point of looking odd, as in "The Royals will dress/look how The Royals bloody well like..."

MsHarry · 01/12/2017 15:21

WHAT? I'm embarrassed for you op Blush

LaurieFairyCake · 01/12/2017 15:32

I don't know Sad

I've asked God every day, cried and prayed. Lit candles and Ommed.

Still nothing Sad

No style has been sent from the unicorns in heaven. I can hardly bear it.

I don't know how we will go on really ....

It's just too much. Perhaps it's come to the time we should start a Just Giving Page?

I think it may be our only option. Apart from staging an intervention at Nottingham Cottage?

We could sing kum baya?

My heart and soul is with you OP. I link my arms in yours.

Together we are stronger. Our spirits, though they may be as dancing fairy sprites, are ONE.

wasonthelist · 01/12/2017 15:34

Am I the only one to think this?!

I sincerely hope so.

KurriKurri · 01/12/2017 15:37

How does hair wax stop you being bald?
If you are bald, why do you need to disguise it ? What will happen if you don't (armageddon ?)

Actually the Unicorns in Heaven could send him a horn, that would cover the bald patch better than wax.

Queeniebed · 01/12/2017 15:42

Bored?

YANBU OP I haven't slept for six nights in a row because I've been wondering the same thing.

derxa · 01/12/2017 16:07
Confused
SilverySurfer · 01/12/2017 16:19

Utterly bonkers when you thought these threads were all bonkered out.

It's none of your fucking business what he does or doesn't do with his hair.

Why don't you go out with a search party to look for a life?

SilverySurfer · 01/12/2017 16:21

Oh pick up a few brain cells while you're out searching Hmm

dangermouse7 · 01/12/2017 16:22

YABU. Nothing to do with you! Hmm

DressedCrab · 01/12/2017 16:24

Some weird shit on MN these days.

FeelingAggrieved · 01/12/2017 16:24

Who gives a shit?

notangelinajolie · 01/12/2017 16:25

Eugh! to wax. There is nothing less appealing than a vain man. Stay just as you are Harry.

PortiaCastis · 01/12/2017 16:25

Who tf cares what they put on their balding barnets

astoundedgoat · 01/12/2017 16:30

lavenderpekins To be honest, I thought the same thing. If she had turned up for that photo shoot looking like her hair had been put in a tumble drier, people would have been ALL OVER HER for not making an effort, so it's a bit odd to see him looking like rubbish, but anybody commenting on this being made out to be demented!

However, if we are on the subject of something as inane as the hair - or lack thereof - of British princes, I think it goes hand in hand with the standard optics for the royal family here - nothing that can be perceived as "trendy" or anything other than "classic" is allowed, hence William's hair, which is toe-curlingly awful (not the balding bit, which is fine, but the appalling "Dad" haircut).

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 01/12/2017 16:44

Actually I can tell you why OP.

The bejewelled royal tin of heir wax is currently in the possession of Prince Charles - who only uses it to re-wax his Barbour jacket anyway. Prince Harry will probably never get his hands on it so I wouldn’t hold your breath.

(By the way, there's nothing wrong with bald. Some of the loveliest men I’ve known have been bald/balding.)

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 01/12/2017 16:54

lightlite I didn't see the hand gesture, but it sounds more interesting than talk of his hair so please tell me about it.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 01/12/2017 17:01

It's okay, I just Googled it - I think he's trying to warn us.

specialsubject · 01/12/2017 17:02

Why? Because he is a bloke and is allowed out without makeup and hair gunge.

Suze1621 · 01/12/2017 21:12

YABU

ShatnersBassoon · 01/12/2017 21:19

It isn't regal.
They like their fluffy hair.
The Queen won't allow it because she doesn't want antimacassars on her new corner sofa.

user1471548375 · 01/12/2017 21:19

I think he probably uses a matt clay, rathe than a wax. Hth

JonSnowsWife · 01/12/2017 21:21

A little bit of wax would really help the balding situ not gel obvs - that would be heinous!

God forbid the men should embrace age. Kate and Meghan clearly don't care so I don't think the Princes are too worried about what strangers think of them starting to thin a bit. Good for them.
