To expect BMW drivers NOT to overtake on a (mini) roundabout?

Is it too much to ask? Or are ALL BMW drivers so arrogant as to think the world revolves around them (especially X5 drivers)?

I do agree tho, actually with the BMW drivers as a general rule are twats theory, although some of us are very nice (and I suppose technically as a mini driver I am a BMW driver and I do admit to acting a bit lairy in my mini and to quote DH drive like a maniac ).
Rover drivers IME drive like 100 yr olds and have no concept of the road, does anyone else agree? >>>>

Oooooh how dare you!!!!!! (You.....BMW driver ) Actually I do only drive a Rover because I won it. I would actually prefer ANY car with 4 doors so that I still have a working back by the time lo is walking.

volvo estate? Gas guzzling monsters! That electric whizz car thing or the prius (or whatever it's called) is more MN friendly or a good old fashioned pair of legs (bike for long journeys with one of those scary looking dangerous child troleys attached to the back!!!)

I just wish people would call a spade a spade and admit that the reason they don't like BMW X5 drivers (I don't drive one btw) is because they are pissed that they don't have £50,000 to spend on one

Although I agree without reservation that overtaking on a mini roundabout is supremely fuckwitted irrespective of the make and model of vehicle that is being driven

and I drive a BMW... a lovely one and its my 2nd BMW. Love it... it makes me a petrol head.

i did write a reply to handlemecarefully earlier but it didn't post for some reason.

I AM NOT JEALOUS OF BMW X5 DRIVERS

a) i hate 4 x 4's. i would rather have a nice prius or a 1980's jag than any old X5.

b) you don't need 50K to buy one. my bil has got one he pays off monthly, but i choose not to spend my money so ridiculously.

i'm glad there are some decent BMW drivers out there - maybe you can campaign to change the image.

yeap, second that one- i have a very low opinion of anyone who drives a bmw, but contrary to the view posted it is not because i can't afford one! i have a boxster, hubby has a lexxus (amongst others!) and i have always been of the firm opinion that if you have 50 grand to spend on a car you would be in very poor taste to buy a bmw- after all they have always been the cars to buy if you can't afford a merc!!

HOWEVER BEFORE YOU ALL SHOOT ME DOWN!!!

i have conceded after meeting a very nice X5 driver yesterdayt that this doesn't extend to every bmw driver, sometimes they are polite and courteous, and everyone has their choice of cars, i would never drive one but i know of plenty of people who dream of owning one!

I know you have quantified it somewhat later on in your positing, but really.....!

I have driven a Merc as well but prefer BMW so there you go! And I am like your 'new friend' with the X5.... polite and courteous!

And there is something rather nice about annoying other people... just by having one... very satisfying actually

nearly there..... Porsche drivers are worse than us lovely BMW drivers, they are flash gits . And could you please justify yourself for having such an inappropriate family car please .

Although I have known a few who weren't, unfortunately the vast majority I've encountered on the roads the world over are twats.
