I don't normally follow this kind of thing, but I've been on the daily mail a bit recently and so I've seen the cheating malarkey and that she's recently released a statement about it all.

I don't necessarily agree with her staying with him but I thought what she said was honest and heartfelt. (I am v emotional at the moment, so I blame that!!)

She seems intelligent and classy and I don't think he deserves her.

I personally get a bit baffled how people become so invested in the marriages of people they have never met, to the point where one of the parties has to make official statements to the media. But I accept I'm in the minority.

She's ok. Classy is not the first word that I'd use to describe her. The words I'd use are lucky, to describe her financial situation. And, desperate, as far as her love life is concerned. I don't know her at all, so I can't comment on the rest of her life.

I only know she married a millionaire, wore some mediocre clothes, lost and gained weight a few times and then desperately hung onto a sleaze bag.

She lacks self respect. He has cheated on her with prositutes and others and takes him back and has more children with him. She had her own millions - if she had self respect she would show him the door.

I wouldn't use the word 'classy', but it's clear that Coleen Rooney is an intelligent woman who knows very well which side her and her family's bread is buttered.

Personally I don't think continually being disrespected (and yes cheating on your wife constantly IS disrespecting you) is a good advert for a long and stable marriage.

I definitely wouldn't say classy. I can't figure out why she married the ugly little oik in the first place. Presumably for his money but if she left now she would be in for a big share. Where's her self respect, putting up with him behaving so badly over and over?

That's such a copout. Many separated parents get on just fine despite not staying together 'for the sake of their kids'.

Classy would be to maintain a dignified silence rather than put out a public statement about the state of her marriage.
I feel genuinely sad for her though, she sounds completely deluded like every other woman who has been treated like shit by her man but is desperately trying to convince herself this time is the time he is going to change.

Wayne Rooney is everything I despise about modern culture, just because he can kick a ball around he feels like he can do anything and get away it. Shag OAP prostitutes? Fine. Have highly publicised threesomes with prostitutes? forgiven. Drink drive? OK. That rant about England fans? forgotten.
Let's face it, what Premiership footballer needs to pay for sex? He is so lacking in so many ways. NO idea why she keeps on forgiving him, but that's her business, as has been mentioned, she wouldn't exactly be living on the streets should she divorce him.

I think she's a complete mug. I don't believe she has been with him since before he was famous, I think he was with someone else and she muscled in. And I agree about the status, especially if he were to remarry & have more children. Plenty of wannabes who would I'm sure. She's done her pact with the devil.
