Wow my daughter just showed me this video on you tube.

It's ok it was on Ukraines got talent so not X rated!!

The babies didn't see distressed but I could bring myself to watch.

That is horrific.

GeekyBlinders · 26/11/2017 10:53

I had to stop watching once they started swinging them by the arms. I looked so dangerous!

Rinoachicken · 26/11/2017 11:01

I’ve seen this before on the news, quite a few years back. Was being touted as ‘baby yoga’ or some such crap by some woman in Russia.

If I remember rightly there were huge concerns raised then. Will see if I can find a link

AdalindSchade · 26/11/2017 11:05

Fuck me. That's horrendous.

PonderLand · 26/11/2017 11:06

That's made me feel sick, wtf is wrong with them!? God knows what happened in the rehearsals for that routine.

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 26/11/2017 11:56

WTF!! ShockShock

LaurieMarlow · 26/11/2017 11:59

I'm as bemused by this as the next person, but think it's worth pointing out that the babies are not distressed in anyway, they seem to be enjoying it.

Mxyzptlk · 26/11/2017 12:07

"Seem to be enjoying it"
The babies are not aware of any dangers.

I wonder if those babies are in early training to be gymnasts. (I think it's horrendous, btw)

JediStoleMyBike · 26/11/2017 12:23

Awful. Turned my stomach.

HousefulOfBoysNow · 26/11/2017 12:29

Awful.

Actually, the clip is fine...the babies aren't distressed.

But how many people could pick a baby up and 'just' do those types of swings, first time, perfectly? None I imagine.

It's the practice that worries me. How many times did they have to work on it, before it was perfected? Poor babies.

BatteredBreadedOrSouthernFried · 26/11/2017 12:30
Shock

That was horrible! Sure way to a dislocated shoulder!! Why would they do that? It’s not even a talent! They weren’t in time with each other.

ForagingForFaerieGold · 26/11/2017 12:38

Agree with everyone. Horrendous. Also, how exactly is this a talent?

Rebeccaslicker · 26/11/2017 12:44

What???

How does this even happen? How does any mother think, "ooh I know what's a great idea" - and THEN find three other idiots to with babies to agree with her? Shock

Rebeccaslicker · 26/11/2017 12:45

Rinoa - i remember the Russian baby yoga. I couldn't watch it, it was so distressing. And I normally have guts of steel!

WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 26/11/2017 12:46

I really hope no one copies this
We just know that people will copy this as there are so many thickos around. I can imagine all the limbs torn from sockets and heads bashed on floors, and the stupid parents wailing that they were just dancing with their babies.

BumWad · 26/11/2017 12:52

Omg

Couldn’t watch it all either

Confused
gamerchick · 26/11/2017 12:59

If that bothers you then don’t watch the hardcore baby swinging stuff. Babies especially in the circus from birth thing are introduced to that early on.

logicalmum · 26/11/2017 13:56

I've never seen a single person yet pick a baby up from her/his cot or pram by the arms, and yet somehow this lot thinks it's acceptable because it's a kind of dance routine. Shock

Clawdy · 26/11/2017 14:49

Very uncomfortable viewing. That arm yanking looks really dangerous.

ditzychick34 · 26/11/2017 14:52

WTF!

MayFayner · 26/11/2017 14:58

I'm shocked at that. I had to stop watching when they started doing the solos. What are they thinking?

Sayyouwill · 26/11/2017 14:59

Waaaaaaaaaaa nope nope nope!!!

That made my shoulders ache :(

WineCheeseSleep · 26/11/2017 15:10

Wow, I couldn't even watch all of that Shock

Mustang27 · 26/11/2017 15:13

I popped my wee boys elbow when he was about 6 months and he could pull himself to standing, he wasn't always strong enough to stay up and he crumpled one time and I gripped out of surprise and fear to try and stop him falling over into me. I cried all the way to the drs who gave it a wee wiggle and popped it straight back in but I still feel absolutely awful. This just seems utterly daft to me as I was gripping my baby in about the same place and was never as careless as this and still caused injury. I guess I was unlucky but that just seems careless.

I have to say though all the mums have killer figures I'm very jealous.
