. I see it on nearly every thread. I don't even know what the hell it means but I fucking hate it.

That one is just crying with sadness, the crying with laughter one is 😂

The original MN emoticons are the best so YABVU. These new emoji imposters are occasionally useful but should never be used when a :) :o or could suffice.

Then I have no idea why my sister uses when she finds something funny.

But I think that the MN native emoticons work best on a computer, so can understand if people think they look naff on a phone, app or tablet, which is a shame.

YY that's the crying with laughter one that makes me Bertie, it is usually used when the subject does not make you cry with laughter at all.

I like emojis but I really don’t like the strike through thing! Sorry I know it’s popular on here. I don’t get it. What’s the point?

The strike through works to show the difference between what you wanted to say and what you actually did say.
