In a similar vein perking . Not much is known and I know it's not good to share incomplete information but we were going to go out to Oxford Circus in a few hours and it feels scarily close.

The thing is that it appears that 1- Flynn was set to be thrown under the bus by Scrotus, 2- according to 'sources' Scrotus had let it be known that he wasn't going to pardon Flynn, and 3-now there the 'fear' that Flynn's son may be implicated in this mess. Perking, yes, the news coming in from Egypt is terrible.

I would say, in my opinion (which counts for very little!), actually these awful terrorist attacks are very relevant to the Trump situation, as he’s acting/reacting to them in a particular way (using them), to push his xenophobic/racist agenda. And to keep his core voters on side.

I'm sure that's true. In fact all of the groups using fear to beckon people to their particular flag hope for someone, somewhere to attack someone else. Doesn't really matter whether it's a "win" or a "martyrdom" for their own group - they get mileage either way.

The far right and ultra-nationalists in Europe (inc Russia) and the US are in a symbiotic relationship with extremist Islamist militants, each trumpeting actions of the other to make a call to arms.

So glad the Oxford St incident was nothing, my heart is in my mouth everytime something happens in London as all my DCs are there (although one isn't at the mo but normally is) Thank goodness they know I worry and whatsapp me.
