I've not been following these threads so apologies if this has been asked before, but what do you all think of Louise Mensch et al on Twitter? I've been following her since she tweeted that Bannon would get the death penalty and I thought she was a nutter, but she does seem to have the inside scoop. Or maybe I feel desperate to believe she's right!?

Sometimes she's right but then it would be difficult not to be occasionally. I don't bother with her myself.

She is cultivating lists of credible people who oppose trump and then encouraging her followers to block the whole list. I’d say she’s calculating and deliberate in trying to spread disinformation and keeping people from being properly informed.

I think it’s easy to dismiss her as harmless because she’s so irritating but I think there’s always been an aim to undermine “the resistance” and she’s played the long game. She also has shady friends I’m really aware I’m starting to sound like a menschite now

OK, so this is what the thread Pain linked is claiming.

A few months ago I saw a @LouiseMensch tweet suggesting everyone join a "BlockList" that was started by @ChiefCovfefe because she said it was full of Trump Trolls, Russian Troll and Bots and FAKE RESISTANCE. So I believed her, thinking she was one of the good guys. 3/

Over the next couple months I didn't realize what had happened. Hindsight being what it is, I can see today that many of the people I had seen around at the beginning were no longer showing up in my feed. I then got a message from @becki_warms 4/

She wanted to know why I had blocked one of her friends, @TheUSASingers ... I said I hadn't, I went and unblocked them and didn't really think much of it. Over the next couple weeks I would attend #FBR events and I noticed about half of the people there were blocked 5/

Call me a little slow but I suddenly started to realize that many of the people in #TheResistance, especially at these #FBR weekends were on my list. I wanted to believe that these people were fake resistance and that @LouiseMensch couldn't have meant for me to block them. 6/

But the more I looked the more I found. It occurred to me that for some reason, this list was FILLED with legit #TheResistance members. Again, maybe I am not the sharpest pencil in the bag or maybe I just try to see the best in people but I didn't want to believe it. /7

This weekend I really looked at it hard...I was blocking THOUSANDS of #TheResistance I couldn't see them and they couldn't see me. So I went to the website I used to initially subscribe and unsubscribed to the block list. I figured that was that. 8/

It wasn't because I still had a massive 100,000 people blocked on my account. I had to find a way to unblock them. It took some time and effort but yesterday I managed to unblock all accounts. It was page by page, 500 at a time and took all day. 9/

The results were nothing short of incredible. Suddenly people started popping up everywhere. Many I remembered. I even messaged a couple like "Where have you been" to only have them say, "Nowhere!" My feed started to fill up again with Resistance members. It was awesome. 10/

I started a thread warning people to stay away from the block list. it started to fill up with dozens of people who realized that they are on the list. Others who said they too had subscribed. Wanted help fixing the problem. 11/

Some people tweeted they have known about this for awhile but nobody was listening when they complained. What apparently is happening is, whether by design or by accident, this block list has divided #TheResistance. And the numbers are staggering. 12/
