Manspreading - biology or entitlement?

They are doing it everywhere. At the cinema, on the tube, at the tennis, in the dentists' waiting room. It's not just the legs - it's the arms too.

I am a smallish woman and I understand that a bigger person takes up more room than me, and that men are mostly larger than me. Is it all that junk between their legs that makes them do it? Is it the broader chest that says "I need to spread my elbows over both the arms of this chair and invade your space". Do large breasted women do it too? (I've not noticed - 30E cup here, so wouldn't understand.)

Or is it "I AM A MAN AND SOOOOOO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD"?

So AIBU to think that they could be a bit less entitled?

Entitlement.
Fucks me right off - I see it as a challenge to get the bastards to move their elbows and legs. Even though I detest physical contact with strangers.

I had this at the supermarket today with my trolley, I was loading my things into the checkout and 2 blokes stood so close behind they end up pushing my trolley forwards so I have to stand in the way of it. I decided to take much more time over it than normal, and made a point of looking at them (I don’t think they noticed how bloody rude they were being).
I also had it at the swimming pool today, absolutely packed and the amount of men who were swimming on their trajectory and wouldn’t move, even once, was astonishing.
I’ve had a day of it!!
