I think it's a classic. I've just sat here watching it without my children. It gives me the warm fuzzies!

Love love love it. Watched it tonight on c4 with DD. She is wanting to go and see the new one with her friend next weekend and I'm secretly a bit gutted I'm not going! It's such a nice feel good film xxx

It’s a delight from start to finish (although I too could have lived without the taxidermist business, I thought it was charming enough just as it was, but I don’t ask for much plot from my films!). Ben Whishaw is perfect as Paddington and the cosy modern-day Poppins-esque London is so lovely. Plus the refugee-finding-a-home message is very timely.

My dd just loves the bit where he pulls out the ear wax and licks it Confused

When the trailers wer all over the telly, the film did not interest me at all. But it was on tv earlier this year so we watched it. I loved it! Ive seen it 3 times and I am 45 - my kids are, at the youngest 17 Grin

We love it here too. First watched it at the cinema on Christmas eve. We're waiting to do the same with Paddington 2 😊🍊

Capricorn76 · 05/11/2017 21:08

I love it. It's such a feel good film with a lovely message and I've stolen some home decor ideas from the house so it's improved my life in more ways than one.

JustBeingJobless · 05/11/2017 21:24

Love it and we’re booked to see the second one next Sunday. Can’t wait 😁

EB123 · 05/11/2017 21:28

I love Paddington, such a great family film.

troodiedoo · 05/11/2017 21:34

Never appealed to me, but watched it earlier as it was on after something. It's hilarious! And beautifully filmed. And fun spotting actors.

dowsabel · 05/11/2017 21:43

I love it! This and the Hugh grant pirates film are two I will happily sit and watch with my kidlets and not be distracted by urgent MN business! We have a day out planned on Saturday to see P2 and I’m more giddy than the kids!

Mountainpika · 05/11/2017 21:45

We saw it on TV when it was first broadcast.
We've recorded it again so we can see it all over again. So enjoyed it.

We are in our 70s.

ReallyExhaustedLlama · 07/11/2017 14:09

Love it too! And live the Brown's house!

ReallyExhaustedLlama · 07/11/2017 14:10

*love!!

LittleHearts · 11/11/2017 15:58

Taped this off the telly so I could watch it with dc and I have just accidentally deleted it, without seeing it. Sad

MrsJayy · 11/11/2017 16:00

Isn't it adorable I loved it sadly i have no young children to take tothe cinema for 2

MrsJayy · 11/11/2017 16:02

@LittleHearts you can undelete on sky+ go to settings recently deleted and go from there

Sirzy · 11/11/2017 16:03

I have just been to see Paddington 2 and if possible I would say it’s even better than number 1

kaytee87 · 11/11/2017 16:04

I just went to see Paddington 2 with my mum. Was great Smile didn’t have any young kids with us. Wasn’t embarrassed.

MrsJayy · 11/11/2017 16:06

I am sure myDd could be pursuaded to go 😊

kaytee87 · 11/11/2017 16:06

I used to call Paddington ‘pappy’ as a small child and I had a Paddington hot water bottle cover that I adored. I still have a ‘pappy’ bear now but it’s in my sons playroom under the guise of being his Grin

LittleHearts · 11/11/2017 19:02

Thank you, MrsJayy
