I woke up smiling this morning as it is the kids half term and I have booked this week off work! Bliss!

I have already made a halloween mask and I am just looking online now at halloween cake ideas for our own little 'fright night' at home tomorrow!

Inkandbone · 30/10/2017 09:34

Sounds fun! I'm waiting for a delivery and I want to go out Halloween Grin

The supply teacher, the leper in the staffroom.

JustDanceAddict · 30/10/2017 09:46

Ink I’m Not a teacher but still feel bad!

sonjadog · 30/10/2017 09:50

I´ve been working with school stuff at home now for a couple of hours. Going into school in about an hour. It´s amazing how much I´ve got done sitting here in peace and quiet! My productivity has probably increased x5.

Inkandbone · 30/10/2017 09:52

I don't go into the staffroom.

I would love to be able to say that I am really friendly to supply teachers, but I´m not. There are just so many people I have to deal with every day, that if someone isn´t going to be part of my every day life, I can´t be bothered chatting to them.

Inkandbone · 30/10/2017 09:56

I don't particularly want anyone to be friendly to me. Just pay me.

Ink, in all seriousness you have an excellent attitude.

I'm off today but had a rubbish few days so have called in for tomorrow. I'm a nurse too Grin I'm pregnant and was having to pop out to my consultant appointment anyway so it's probably better they get someone to cover the whole shift

TheZeppo · 30/10/2017 10:20

I'm glad not the only one suffering with The Guilt Dance!

It honestly is a 100% easier to go in and slog through, but not today. Really really not.

disappearingninepatch · 30/10/2017 17:40

How did you get away with it today, OP? I got the call just after I posted on here this morning and have been in Nursery. Shock Just when I'd learned the children's names, they went home and a new lot arrived.

Inkandbone · 30/10/2017 17:41

I don't know! I am grateful though. Man, I hate it, I don't know whether to knock it on the head.

Are you going to work tomorrow?

Inkandbone · 30/10/2017 18:11

No, I don't work Tuesdays.
