I'm home alone with ds 18months, Dh is on evening shift, won't be home until 12. It's dark. Doorbell rang, Dog went nuts, baby shouting "dop It" at full volume over and over. He rang the bell 3 times and knocked too, dog moved the Curtin and I got a look at him, he saw me too, no clue who he is, he had a dog with him, aibu or would you have opened the door?!

Yourown, exactly, I'd rather annoy the unknown caller than risk my safety and that of my son, even if the risk is tiny it's still a risk! And I hate the darkBlush

No way would I open the door.

Fuck that.

notangelinajolie · 26/10/2017 22:57

No I wouldn't have opened the door. Nobody I know would ever come to my house without letting me know first so I ignore random door knockers.

Nah, I wouldn't have opened the door either. Made me laugh your dog moving the curtains, my cat did the same thing once. Your house, your door, your choice.
